Hey guys
I was told you should do the Homun S quest right after you turn into a Genetic, with your homun vaporized so it won't go past lvl 99 and won't lose stats growth or something, OK.
The problem is, I still have a 82 1st form Amistr which is still ''Shy'', so it'll take a while to evolve and level him up, so my question is: Is there a problem with that? Once it hit 99 it'll go past a little, so is there any problems, or the only problem is when it reaches 100?
PS: Taking forever to get to Loyal, if anyone have any tips (besides feeding it between 11~24) it's too boring and i can't AFK that way =(
Thanks in advance

your amistr will be 99 way before it becomes loyal so you should avoid having it out in the fields once it's 99 just to be safe and just feed it while you're afking in town or something. if you need to keep using it to level your character you should vaporize and never take it out until you have the homunc S quest completed.

The only critical thing is that you must not let your homun level past 99 (as in, reaching level 100) before changing to homun S to avoid missing stat/sp/hp growth.
For you, this isn't so bad (other than the agonizing wait while you loyal the damned thing TWICE) - you just have to like, stop leveling it sometime between 99 and 100. Since you'll be genetic when this is happening, you'll see the bar, and can stop it.
Why we give people that warning is that if they got their homun to 99 WHILE STILL BIOCHEM, it would not be eligible to go past 99, but it could still gain exp, and you can't see the exp bar. Thus, when you changed to genetic, it might have enough "overflow" exp to get to 100 immediately. Just like with players, the overflow exp won't be checked until it kills a monster (even one that gives 0 exp) - this leaves you in a very dangerous situation, where your homun will get 100 from simply poking a poring, missing out on stat growth in the process.
There are only a few ways to screw yourself that hard (ie, irrevocably messing up stats) in RO by accident, but this is one of them (other two I can think of are changing without max job level, and skipping trans, which are ofc more serious - but also much harder to do on accident; you have to decide to screw yourself there, where here, you just have to be careless) - only way back is resetting homun.
