ok now im trying to patch and 00000668.CHK and 00000670.CHK are freaking broken from

I had a problem earlier today with the patcher returning multiple errors prior to actually displaying the patcher, however, I was still able to launch the game after (I think it had to do with communication with their server's patches).  I just relaunched the game and am not seeing the same errors again.

I may have fixed it, I reinstalled it from a backup I made of the installer in 2012 and its patching from WAYYY back so Ill know in an hour or so if it worked.

ok I fixed it using an ageold downloader from 2012, god help any noob trying to play this mess.
