I saw that they updated it that it comes with a set now. Is there a benefit to it?>

if you're talking about this:

East Costume Set : 

Costume Sakkat 
Costume Dark Blindfold, 
Costume Angry Mouth

 

i believe that's how they categorized them when they were first introduced. the "west costume set" included the costume cowboy hat and some other ones i forget
