So literally thanks to this thread i made a blacksmith and thanks to janeway its now 99/50.

 

But, my question is, can you not go from blacksmith straight to mastersmith?? I thought you could jump classes and you just sacrifice stat and skill points?

Gotta transcend first. You can only go from nontrans 2nd class to 3rd class, not trans 2nd.

Just remember to wear all your lucky kawaii headgears otherwise it won't work. I chose the fish hat to pay tribute to the kafra shop gods, if the game can see that money was spent it is more generous.

4+ drill-katar level 4 weapon (5pcs) vs 200++ Ori (looted & collected free & no cerf) =

1pcs +7( I sell it for 5m zeny) and 1pcs +8 ( sell it for 15m zeny) and 3pcs destroy(nvm).

do the refining with speed like a keyboard warrior.

I do have a Mastersmith, just for upgrading and smithing weapons to level my alt characters.

 

It's not upgrading like a boss. I tried to upgrade various weapons using it and I always put my Lucky Kawaii Headgears on my Mastersmith (which in my case, the Moonlight Hat) however, the highest I can get is +9 and it is a level  1 weapon.

I'm not sure how many attempts that I've tried before getting to +9 but I'm pretty sure, using certificates and other better options (Enriched, HD etc) are worthier than attempting +10 using Mastersmith's skills.
