so i bring new topic. what i am saying is make people or devs get mad

 

but this is true. TRUE TRUE 100% true of roseonline

 

 

now days people playing Draconis Peaks instead CD because people wont play PVP game, or i just say fact is roseonline does not have enough people

 

i miss people play big PVP games, not just for honor, for fun

 

like 10vs10 match or 15vs15 match

 

i will say few kind of reason people wont play PVP game, but i will behind roseonline does not have enough ppl

 

 

1. You Can't sell Honor Pts.

 

Point is you won't get zulie or any rewards from pvp games. pvp is just waste time of effort on this game.

 

consider you need alot zulie and IM pts for buy Honor Gears and passives.

 

i'm sure people will say "game is about challange, and dont need it for game playing", but if you don't have gears and passives

 

you will die for a few sec from enemies. i can't survive without it. you need it 100%. it must require for play pvp

 

And you die Easily, then enemies will keep attacking you. because you are soft. and they will get points from you, You are just Sweet Ice cream for them

 

and there is no item for sell from honor shop, these gear is locked, you can't sell it. And Castle Gear? useless on this game. it just for you running around for town

 

And these new gem? it's just nothing. Dodge, Max hp gem is useless on this game. only useful gem is Peridot aspd 20% on hands. but it is easily replaceable like. enhance dmg or piece def Gem

 

I will just farming instead play pvp games. you can make zulie from farming. more easy than pvp games and no need extream gears.

 

 

2. Playing Cleric is very hard.

 

i'm Not 100% sure, but it's hard. you playing cleric you need lot of attention. other than another class

 

attacking class is just need attention about own survive and killing Enemy Team Cleric, yes. pvp match is just killing about enemy team cleric

 

if cleric is die. rest of them will die easily. And survive as cleric is very hard.

 

you get lot of debuff status effect, like stun, mute, sleep and they will just attack you!

 

and if you can't heal. you just get blamed.

 

i say playing another class is 300-400% easier than cleric. so people wont play cleric.

 

there is no cleric on CD, always if cd opend no cleric. or one side has cleric. then nobody will join CD. result of people dont wanna join CD cause unbalanced.

 

 

And only cleric class need management MP, heal?  like 400-1100 need MP but averge cleric has like 5k-7k mp.... always no mp for heal.

 

how about another class? they dont need MP management. and also dont need MP pot.  10-50Mp cost for powerful skill? LOL why only playing cleric have to be harder?

 

And i wont tell about skill delay

 

 

3. About GA Energy..

 

there was 2-5 game everyday before unlimit play CD

 

that time was you play after dungeon. You can play CD CD CD and again until you got tired.

 

but after GA energy patch. you have to choose between dungeon or PVP match.

 

so people choose dungeon. nobody play cd... And people will say "You can Pay Premium Account"

 

but i will say "How many player will pay for just play CD?"

 

as i said before you cant farm/sell honor points. you dont have reason for play cd. thats make also you dont need pay premium account

4. Getting Gears is freaking hard..

 

as i said before. you cant get it from trade.. or you dont have gear. just i will die..

 

so noobies can't join pvp matches. and can't farm it from pvp games. cause pvp games wont open and without gears. you will just die..

i played lesser these past few weeks because of that.. i queue for cd for a few minutes (in peak hours) and then log out if nothing happens... 

 

i played a few dp but i dont really like it, capture the flag type game is not really my cup of tea..

Here's one for you. I don't miss the old times. I very much enjoy the way the game is now because people actually have to work for what they have. My only issue is the fact that refining items costs way to much if you want to make it +15.

 

At the original poster, you can still sell honor points. You can't buy Honor gears or weapons for people, but anything else honor you can buy and sell.

 

I'm not much of a PvP person, I PvM more than anything but occationally I do PvP. If new gears ever come out, I will stop PvP completely because I can't afford to refine everything to +15, especially in today's economy because it's takes anywhere from 1b to 4b to refine a single piece of equipment if you want to get +15. I can usually get to 7, maybe even 8 and that's it. Without +15 you can't really do anything in terms of PvP because as you said you're all soft and cuddly, easier to kill.

 

Also, it will not do any good to complain about the Item Locked, that change is here to stay. I think it's good to have and I hope they don't ever change it back.

Yes, Soft is make you gonna die. therefore peop wille play more PVM, not pvp. because PVP is extreamly need gears and no points playing PVP nowdays. makes zulie? reward? or what.

 

putting effort to pvp is Just Waste Time. strength. so people dont want invest zulie, effort or ItemMall to PVP. thats RoseOnline.

Need Another Alternative Way to bring noobies join together. they just quiting cause after max level, RoseOnline does not have contents For noobies.. (i say change made it like this)

i just Miss Many People playing DG, and PVP arena... Now PVP matches No Room except sometimes.

 

and also Dunge room is just 0-2 room in server.

 

these days we have contents for playing roseonline. but people quitting or AFK in town and do nothing ..after few hours close roseonline..

 

cause it's not about people are not lazy.. it's about Can't Playable. if development going to slower. (after dev announced there is going new dungeon. but nothing happens yet.) 

 

we need use already existing contents. these update are way i see it people can't playable..

Ratio is 5 Valor to 1 Honor That mean you have 5000 Valor Pts, you can change it to 1000 honor pts LOL

I reply to the bolded line. Perhaps this will offer you another way of looking at things OP. If, CD or other PVP activities reward Zulies, It will definitely create alot of problem for us all. We are now plagued by overwhelming number of zuls in both servers and this has created the very much hated inflation and is killing the economy. If the game rewards Zulie for pvp, it will bring in even more money for the stronger players. Mind you that most strong players are most likely a richer player than others.  PVP activity do however reward Honor points which is a currency used to get Honor gears, which is kinda like a fair trade.

This is quite a grey area you see, as different people with different preferences will probably have different views. Its hard to play as a cleric , YES I actually agree with you. But isn't cleric / healer supposed to be one of the hardest character to master in any MMORPG?

 But the point isn't very much about the class, its on the people controlling the cleric. I can introduce you to someone in Draco who can play a cleric so well that everyone says that he is OVERPOWERED and they would cry for more nerfs. I can also pick any newb cleric for you and everyone would agree that Clerics could somewhat be underpowered. 

A good cleric is defined by his or her expertise of the class alone? Nope, definitely nope. It requires leadership skills, communication skills, observation skills and of course the ability to blend those skills and apply them onto your team and thus forming "Team Work". I refuse to believe the class itself is weak, I prefer to believe that the players themselves don't quite understand it.

 I agree with the fact that GA energy is a hindrance to promote GAs. Although some may argue that it doesn't affect GA that much, but the fact remains that having GA energy did not do anything to encourage GAs better.

No offense, but I must say this. Gears are not supposed to be easily farmed anyways, especially PVP grade gears. 

I saw many newbies who played CD without honor gears, they tried to farm enough points to buy those gears. I enjoyed killing them in CD but I enjoy more watching them grow day by day and become stronger. I once comforted a new cleric who was on my team when he was blamed for every misfortune that landed our team in that game. He was discouraged but then he moved on and decided that he would ignore everyone else and just do his best. Today if I happen to see him in a war and if he is on the opposing side, I would still get my teammates to kill him first. Not because he is an easy target, but because this guy is someone who doesn't know how to give up. He experienced the worst before and he now handles pressure very well. 

Any idiots who just wish to buy their gears from their IM converted Zulies without working for it is of no use to me in war. They have not earned their rights to even stand equal to those who have, let alone hope to be? I say this from my experience of leading countless military campaign in Draco and I formed my clan with all these pvp newbs. Its a fun process mate, learn to enjoy it.

I readed the topic and im fine whit the honor lock I quited 2-1 years and playing again vor 3 weeks now I am a pvp-war type was in the beginning a litle hard cause al the new gems but I realy enjoy the game and maked a lot of frends I agree its a lilte hard vor newbies but if u smart u can make a lot of zullie whit A vendor

But behind cleric balances, Really Need fix is PVP is all about Killing Enemy Clerics.

Regarding clerics, I was actually trying to say that players rely too much on the cleric's build settings and that isn't entirely healthy, especially if they wish to play well in that class. While cleric is important, it shouldn't be made easier to use just to encourage other players to play it more often. I always catch that people playing the cleric class the way it shouldn't be played in the first place. They hope to achieve something that they shouldn't even think about doing, then they tried to set their build to the direction of their goal and couldn't reach a satisfactory result. These Isn't the class's fault, this is merely a wrong choice of build. 

There are people who are godlike in playing clerics and most of these people are players who rarely complain whenever chances take place. (Which btw we have plenty of, lulz *pokes leo*). Most interesting thing is, these good clerics I know have different style of playing their class.  My point is , if they have gain such reputation for their class by playing differently from one another, then it proved that the class Isn't actually as bad as people thought. I guess you need patience and the appetite to keep experimenting, but of course your choice of game play is crucial too.

I agree that most people are not like that, if by "like that" you meant people are supposed to farm and work hard to obtain pvp grade gears like I mentioned earlier. But mate, just because most people are like that, it doesn't make those people right. Rose Online can be an easy game for any lucky new players if they found themselves a generous good clan. More often than not, people in Rose always seek the easy way out (short cuts). This is why people don't level up new characters as much anymore, they would rather "Borrow" a crafter from their friends than to make one.

Although many may say that Rose Online is hard for players to farm for good gears, I refuse to agree. Rose Online is the easiest MMO I've ever played. Gears are not impossible to obtain, you just need patience. You cannot compare yourself to other veteran players and complain that you cannot fight as their equal, instead you should compare your level of effort to the degree of where you wish to climb.

Those rare players you mentioned are the very good players I said earlier. Nothing comes easy, game or reality, no pain, no gain.

When I mentioned those Idiots, I actually meant people who thought that by quickly buying pvp gears, they can fight like the god of war. When they realized their gears didn't do much difference at all and still lose, they end up trash talking and blame everyone and everything. We've seen people like this much too often. Fools who charges forward thinking their pvp gears would keep them alive, then die and blame the team for not backing him up or healing him. When you fight and die alot, that is when you learn how to master your skills CD, MP consumption , Pot Cool down, Combo sequences, Teamwork, etc. You don't die and look up hating the system, you should die and look back and ask yourself what went wrong? I learned that the hard way in my first MMO.

Take some time bro, you will find it. Just be patient and keep looking.

the whole game went to after they made sure nothing is difficult to obtain anymore. Back in the days you were farming for a 155 weap or lv 120 astarot blue wings for months. Therefore, Luna clanfield was always crowded and there was not even need for pvp games like cd or DP besides the already existing AA. <- pre evo. 

Nowadays, if u want the best weap ingame; you pop a medal or not and you obtain 1-10 a day. Refine it, use a stat scroll. Every stat is available for everybody even when it comes to im or unique tier's <--.

Furthermore, acquiring the best EQ is a pain in the ass for new players. And most importantly it is not fun, people play the Arena games for the points not for the fun. They drop a cleric in one side if the other one has not and make sure they get total amount of points. So no it is not hard to obtain your end game EQ for -_- sake.

And this server merge where everybody is talking about is going to boost the activity of Arena games. However, this wont be forever. I am 100% certain that for the first 6 months after the merge all arena games will be played.. gets boring again.. people quit. Afterwards, there wont be another server to merge and the game dies. <--- if not drastic changed will be made.

Biggest problem: Acquiring end game EQ Weap became to easy.

and to you noobmeister, do you actually play this game? how did it became hard to get gears? it became as easy as possible.

Couple of people were asking to bring back challenges at acquiring end game equipment many times, such that the game has some "amazing rare items" back to the game. But at the end, who gets the chance to possess these "amazing rare items"? Whoever that spends the most on this game.

15 gears hast to be harder grade at first start.

 

nerf cata and adding degrading was so late patch. that time was everyone had +15, and default gear  refine grade was 15.

 

this influlence keep will going until until keep. idk when is it (maybe until new gear comes xD?) but everyone looking +15 gears.

 

if you dont have 15 gear, just get blamed and kicked(may you in dunge) cause Noob.

 

now people badly need 15 gears nowdays. but there is no 15 gear. market price is goin crazy again. cause limited pcs 15 gears.

 

so unfair for new players. they got gear from so easily. noob needs Try handle much Pains. and why is that? 90% new player will quit. before get them.

but this is true. TRUE TRUE 100% true of roseonline

 

 

now days people playing Draconis Peaks instead CD because people wont play PVP game, or i just say fact is roseonline does not have enough people

 

i miss people play big PVP games, not just for honor, for fun

 

like 10vs10 match or 15vs15 match

 

i will say few kind of reason people wont play PVP game, but i will behind roseonline does not have enough ppl

 

 

1. You Can't sell Honor Pts.

 

Point is you won't get zulie or any rewards from pvp games. pvp is just waste time of effort on this game.

 

consider you need alot zulie and IM pts for buy Honor Gears and passives.

 

i'm sure people will say "game is about challange, and dont need it for game playing", but if you don't have gears and passives

 

you will die for a few sec from enemies. i can't survive without it. you need it 100%. it must require for play pvp

 

And you die Easily, then enemies will keep attacking you. because you are soft. and they will get points from you, You are just Sweet Ice cream for them

 

and there is no item for sell from honor shop, these gear is locked, you can't sell it. And Castle Gear? useless on this game. it just for you running around for town

 

And these new gem? it's just nothing. Dodge, Max hp gem is useless on this game. only useful gem is Peridot aspd 20% on hands. but it is easily replaceable like. enhance dmg or piece def Gem

 

I will just farming instead play pvp games. you can make zulie from farming. more easy than pvp games and no need extream gears.

 

 

2. Playing Cleric is very hard.

 

i'm Not 100% sure, but it's hard. you playing cleric you need lot of attention. other than another class

 

attacking class is just need attention about own survive and killing Enemy Team Cleric, yes. pvp match is just killing about enemy team cleric

 

if cleric is die. rest of them will die easily. And survive as cleric is very hard.

 

you get lot of debuff status effect, like stun, mute, sleep and they will just attack you!

 

and if you can't heal. you just get blamed.

 

i say playing another class is 300-400% easier than cleric. so people wont play cleric.

 

there is no cleric on CD, always if cd opend no cleric. or one side has cleric. then nobody will join CD. result of people dont wanna join CD cause unbalanced.

 

 

And only cleric class need management MP, heal?  like 400-1100 need MP but averge cleric has like 5k-7k mp.... always no mp for heal.

 

how about another class? they dont need MP management. and also dont need MP pot.  10-50Mp cost for powerful skill? LOL why only playing cleric have to be harder?

 

And i wont tell about skill delay

 

 

3. About GA Energy..

 

there was 2-5 game everyday before unlimit play CD

 

that time was you play after dungeon. You can play CD CD CD and again until you got tired.

 

but after GA energy patch. you have to choose between dungeon or PVP match.

 

so people choose dungeon. nobody play cd... And people will say "You can Pay Premium Account"

 

but i will say "How many player will pay for just play CD?"

 

as i said before you cant farm/sell honor points. you dont have reason for play cd. thats make also you dont need pay premium account

4. Getting Gears is freaking hard..

 

as i said before. you cant get it from trade.. or you dont have gear. just i will die..

 

so noobies can't join pvp matches. and can't farm it from pvp games. cause pvp games wont open and without gears. you will just die..

1. I wish there was a item that was in the honor shop that was very asked for in the market that players could get and sell. So player would farm honor points. I understand '' Why do pvp games if I dont need the honor? '' of course, it can be fun. But it would be more ''interesting'' if I think its fun and I need the points for something good.  

 

I understand you. When you join pvp games the at the begining you are what you say. You are sweet ice cream for the other players and if they figure out that you are easy to kill. You are the first target for them, so they can earn more points. 

 

 

2. I understand you. Its hard to play Clerics, becuse you are also a first target. You get stunned, sleeped, muted and more. But with the right build, right armor you can deal with this sitations, I personaly use Sleep cloud aoe when I get players on me, and then I will run a bit away from them and at the same time you need to heal everyone, but salamanders is a good little helpers, that can help you with healing your team mates and mana flame can replace your MP recovery. 

 

I got blame sometimes for not healing in pvp games. Do you know what I say? I say '' If you didnt get healed, its becuse you dont defend me enough, so I was healing my self. ''. 

 

I kinda agree with you. Clerics should have no problem with MP and other classes should have it. Becuse we have so high MP and we should natural have low MP requirements on the skills. But there is a passive in the skill tree, that you can learn that lower the '' MP cost '' on the skills. 

 

 

4. Getting pvp gears is hard, at the begining. You could ask a crafter to craft something for you or get Sea of dawn armor and start from there. It's hard and it takes time.

Refining a part max will cost 800-1.1b. Which is nothing. Farm untill u got 5b make investments, quick buy sale. play the market. Earning zulies in rose has never been dificult. U can get plenty of body reduction gems a day if u know how to, which currently sell at 4b. So how is refining to 15 hard again?

All I'm saying is, you don't seek difficulty solely from "gathering end game equipment" anymore, the game difficulty is evenly spread out to other new things, the game used to be all about getting that (9) equipment and getting max level.

But now, you have all these new blessing passive from valor shop and honor shop, akram kingom, ancient royal outfit, being added to the list of end game content. And somehow, getting to 230 is also another one because it is so hard to find people to party with unless you have a group to do it with you all the time.



I don't think you can finish any of the above unless you skip it by paying it, and I'm sure you have heard about the new gear coming up next, so you will be busy gathering them and getting them to (15). (Don't forget you cannot trade them anymore, you will have to get them on the right character) And if you still find any of these are easy task, may be you should start playing other class too, so you understand every other class clearly and you can become one of the class representative and help the developers out.


This is what I get from half month without any medals just a premium account, and I still hardly call this game "easy", because I have every single class at 230 pretty much stuck with crap (10) equipment since I don't really have the resource to get them to (15). The challenge is there, it's just you have to stop using the short cut.
