Hey guys, I'm planning on getting a Queen Faceworm Leg with Drake card as my main weapon for KE build, but I'm not sure what I should slot as the second card.  Archer Skeleton seems like the most generic choice while Abysmal also seems good for MvPing.  What do you guys think?

Turtle General card to go all the way. It'll also increase your damage for Kunai Splash, so that's an added bonus.

If not planning to save up for one, Archer Skeleton might be your best bet for general use.

Haha, TG for sure but unfortunately my funds can't reach that yet. :S  I might be able to get an Atroce card though, but that might not help as much as an Archer Skeleton.

ATK cards are only worth looking at if you want to focus on Kunai Splash, but an over-upgraded Grimtooth with FS enchants can't be beat at the moment in terms of the mainhand department.

 

Also, no point getting an Atroce card when a Hillsrion card can pretty much give you the same bonus (minus the ASPD proc).

Currently using a +12 Grimtooth Ea4/Ea5 but switching over because I want the Drake effect.  Guess I'm just going to stick to Drake+Archer Skeleton.

No worries. Will you be able to share your results when you get your main weapon? I'm curious on how much the damage will change on a Drake-carded weapon for medium/large monsters. That size penalty is really putting me off.

For sure, I will do a pre/post drake test on the 2 sizes...might take a few days though.

So I did a minuscule test on the effects of Drake card on KE damage,

 

Without equips/buffs, only +9 Faceworm Queen Leg on Pecopeco (Large size monster):

 

With Drake Card:

 

Average High TI (medium sized monster) damage with full equips and buffs (only takoyaki food):

 

 

Comparison with +12 Grimtooth Ea4/Ea5:

That Drake Card does make quite a bit of difference, I see. Good to see it in action for KE, finally.

QFL with Drake kingbird, off-hand use MG quad kingbird.

 

Can't go wrong with that.

 

In fact, I just saw an Oboro at Amatsu with +12 QFL and the same set of cards. Had FAW, Rudra, +9 Enhanced Variant, Pencil, Robo Eyes, RWC pendant+ring with enchants.

...forgot what headgear she had on.

 

Pretty sure she had everything maxed out except for Rudra(clean). +5 Shadow Sets.
