Hi!

 

I just logged in and discovered I have VIP service. While I should feel ecstatic I'm also pretty confused because I never received any notification about it.

 

Went to my WP account page and there it is...valid up to January 26...in ALL my Ragnarok game accounts. (Serious)

 

So I was wondering if there is any promotion for returning players or something (I was in a hiatus of almost a year) or some sort of contest or what.

 

Anyone has received that same promotion?

Same here. I am as confused as you. I'm like whaaaat? But then again, it's the weekend. So that's my life gone. It's funny cuz I got it but not my bro. The difference is, I have purchased from the kafra shop before and he hasn't.

Mmm...could be, since I have charged WPE to each account at least once and had used it in the Kafra shop.

 

Still, it's weird they didn't even send a mail with the notice.

Free VIP Weekend

If you registered an account or paid for something ingame within the last two years, we're adding three days of subscription to your account this weekend! Starting at 12:30pm Pacific time, eligible accounts will receive 72 hours of VIP time.

If you're still subscribed the time will be added to the end of your subscription. If you haven't subscribed before, being a VIP means you can create more characters, get more exp/drops and access special buff and quest NPCs!

None of my accounts got the free VIP though.

We did a pull of account names that have registered or paid within the last two years and sent out a newsletter  (make sure that you're getting our newsletters!) as a weekend callback thing. 

 

Since it would not apply to all players we did not push it through the broadcast system. I apologize if you fall under that category but did not end up getting the VIP.

Well, it's only 3 days so I'm not too bummed. But if it was 7 days, the torches and pitchforks are coming out.

What if you got the newsletter, but didn't get the VIP? I purchased VIP at the beginning of the month, and also bought something ingame on a different account (late 2013) and neither one got the added VIP time.

It's just somewhat unclear what counts as a purchase. I'm 100% sure that I have activated VIP more than once in the past 2 years. I've also got a clear memory of purchasing several KP boxes in the summer of 2014.
It's not a huge deal, but it seems somewhere the pull of accounts didn't complete correctly, or excluded some customers (by accident?).

Oda, my profile has the newsletter activated since I joined. Yet I haven't received the one about the VIP thing, that's why I was so confused (last one I got was from the October event)

 

Anyway, thanks for the Gifts. I hope you guys at WP decide to make 3 days VIP purchasable along the longer ones, as you can see the community won't scoff at such deals.
