I enjoyed using it on lower levels and doing 30k on arrow vulcans. That was fun.

Awesome guide! Also a good shield card: Zealotus for that +10% AV & Slinging Arrow damage.

 

But Zealotus card only increases the Slinging Arrow damage. Or not?

You have a point. Although I did find that it also increases AV. I could be wrong though :-)

Sling arrow became utterly useless when they added fixed cast time to it. Seriously, next to double strafe its useless. When you get to 3rd job you can use the temporal dex boots to make it instant cast again, but by then you can use reverberation, metallic sound, arrow vulcan, and such, which is much better damage, even with the cast delay.
