Forum Poll. With these everyone can know the exact numbers of pros and cons in the Proposals and Suggestions section.

 

example 1:

poll question: Who wants server merge?

choice 1: We want server merge

choice 2: We don't want server merge

choice 3: We want server merge but we also want to keep all the characters (10 in odin + 10 in freya)

choice 4: Undecided

choice 5: Just trolling.

 

Poll ends in __ days.

 

example 2:

poll question: Who is in favor of suggestion:

choice 1: 1

choice 2: 2

choice 3: 3

btw..the thread suggest making a poll a trend in this forum..not a poll for server merge..it just an example

There once was a poll about the refinement system... and it proved that the majority didn't like it. But you can easily judge by yourself, whether the 'pressure' thing was helpful.

Certainly having polls from time to time is helpful and we can use them here on the forums occasionally, but I just want to make it known that it's more for our own knowledge on the publishing end of things, and not something that can enforce a decision on development.

The way it works is: We take that player comments, compile suggestions, and convey it to development. This is done on a constant basis through both community feedback and VCR feedback for old and new content.

Development ultimately makes the choice about what happens in game based on what they can manage within the development schedule and what follows the vision they have for the game. We publish that content on our servers for you to play and repeat this process. Ultimately, we as the publisher can just convey our wants and there are multiple publishers for this title that have needs as well.  We work to make sure that there is input from our players on the table at all times. If you feel polls could help in that, we could use them more on the forums.

a simple poll is great to pass some time..I see a lot of web doing poll..

not an absolute to have a serious poll deciding the future development on the game but just for fun is better.

eg: Which class do you think is the best?

      Which npc ypu like the most?

      Which town you like the most?

      Which costumes is the cutest?

 

A simple thing is make our life interesting..

A serious poll also required to show the majority

 

That why i seriously support this idea..

another good poll is: where are you from? with long list of countries xD
