Hello

I could not find a thread on this subject so I thought I would ask.

-I have a slotted and non-slotted assassin daggers. I have taken them both to Malangdo and talked to the cat NPC (Mayomayo) enchanter.

(After I doubled checked the wiki Malangdo enchanted guide and viewed a couple of enchanted assassin daggers in the market place).

-Spent real money on Silvervine boxes and made some A-class coins.

-Back to the cat. Mayomayo the enchanter response "this is not a suitable equipment for reinforcement. Don't forget that we only take care of high class weapons including level 4"

-So no enchanting takes place. The assassin dagger's I have are level 4. Slotted and non-slotted.

-Is there something I am doing wrong? Or is there a step i have missed, or another assassin dagger I am not aware of, or a different way to enchant these weapons?

Thanks for your time.

Thank you for your reply Ashuckel.

Sadly I have tried your advice, both hands one empty one equipped and one in each to. It seems to be to no avail.

When the weapon is in the left hand: Mayomayo responds "Do you take off your equipment?"

(Phrased exactly like that, no typo)

Below is an extract from an enchantment guide which suggests that slotted and non-slotted can be enchanted,

Assassin Dagger* *The (more) slotted versions of this weapon are also eligible.

This could be out of date or wrong?!.

I will try your suggestion again, as I must be at fault somewhere.

Thank you, for confirming that this is an enchantable weapon. Good to know I am not the fool for trying at lest.

My check list would be:

-Clean Level 4 Assassin Dagger equipped, right or left hand

-18 A-Class coins (should only need 2 x 2)

-Dialog open with NPC Mayomayo, Select "Enhance high ranked weapons"

Also thanks again for your time and reply.

Based on Ragial, I only see non-slotted versions with enchantments. iROwiki is all user-generated content, so it's possible that the information is incorrect.

EDIT: Have you tried with just the unslotted version equipped in your character's right hand? That's the weapon slot on your left. Nothing should be equipped in your character's left hand (where shields always go).

Thank you for your reply MorseCoder,

Indeed I have noticed that the enchanted versions of the Assassin Dagger are non-slotted.  I also tried a fully striped character with only the dagger in right hand. Left Hand. and one in both. Just to see.

-Which is why I acquired seven non-slotted ones. After which created two slotted ones breaking four in the process.

-Leaving one non-slotted and two slotted (felt rather lucky at this ratio). I then brought from the market two enchanted versions

of the assassin dagger to match up their descriptions with each other. They all match/say the same thing. Slotted, non-slotted, enchanted.

-brought two Grimtooth daggers to test my enchanting process was correct. Both grimtooths' enchanted on slot 3 & 4.

(I have enchanted many items in the past. Yet I thought it was good to check by process of elimination of error on my part.)

-I implement the same process with each version of the assassin dagger and continue to to get the denial message:

"this is not a suitable equipment for reinforcement. Don't forget that we only take care of high class weapons including level 4"

Next I will try to un-enchant the purchased assassin daggers and re-enchant them to see if there is a glitch of difference in my items.

TESTED-the previously enchanted assassin daggers' register as enchantable.

(Conclusion projection that the slotted versions are not enchantable, yet I do have a non-slotted that will not enchant also).

If I attempt to slot the enchanted versions, with slot certs, will the enchants be wiped?

-I would like to hear from any one who has enchanted an assassin dagger. Was it a normal enchant process?!

The sad thing is this has cost a little bit of real money (silvervine and A-class coins) and I am still confused at what I am messing.

If the is an extremely detailed guide to enchanting that may enlighten me to a missed step or factor in my process I would appreciate a link.

I want to hold off sending a 'Bug' ticket until I know for sure its not just me lacking information.

I would welcome any help that can describe any thing that I have not yet already tried.

Thanks for your time.

Very cool!!

hmc317

Thank you for the concise answer! The extra information also. It is every thing I needed and wanted to know.

I suspected the wiki was wrong after after my last experiment with the previously enchant versions. They were wipe-able and re-enchant-able.

I will see if I can chase down a couple of "Krieg (3)'s or Weihna (2)" for my next experiments.

Thank very much again and good luck in your hunts.

Right you are DrAzzy.

Yet upon scanning the wiki page a number of times I still have not found the edit information feature.

I'll work it out, I guess.

Thanks for the feedback.
