so my guild and i have run ET a few times. Consisting of lvl 120+ transcendent RK, ranger, WL, HP, RG and GX for the past 2 weeks we've gotten wrecked by samurai spectre. any tips on how to beat him? he hits us with 30k AOE and we all die. any tips for other parts of the endless tower run as well?

 

ALSO how much hit do i need to hit mvps that have used agi up such as mistress and samurai spectre? i haev 530ish hit all buffed up on ranger and am still missing every hit. does the wizard need to use quagmire? to reduce his agi?

edit: btw what stacks to increase my atk spd? between awakening potions, guarana candy and enriched celermine potions. is there anything else to increase it? thanks! atm at around 189ish atk spd fully buffed with agi up, eden buffs and ranger buffs + awakening pot

don't think MVPs are affected by debuffs like quagmire. crit or wait for the buff to expire.

so just set up heaps of safety walls? and pneumia for high priest since they dont need to attack. 

 

damn. is there any way to achieve high enough hit to hit it? i have like 160-170 dex fully buffed up and am not close to 600 at all.

only person who would need sw is your tank. rest of the party can just chill around a pneuma. I don't know if the attack itself has any property but if it does then using an elemental armor would also reduce damage.

since you're sw tanking you can just wait for agi up to expire if you are not a crit build.

Simple, just one Archbishop stay behind the party to resurrect when you die.

your rangers AS should be able to hit it fully buffed and if you can get a gene in your party for quick floor clear. Sura is your ideal tank carrying elemental armor for different MVPs

Samurai Spectre uses AGI up, which triples its flee. All attacks that depend on HIT won't be able to hit him because there is no way to triple your HIT, not even with Phreeoni Card. Utilize attacks that ignore flee instead, or use something like Perfect Hit from a Gungnir.

You might want to re-think your setup too as others may have mentioned. Basically the core ET group is one Sura tanker, one Genetic killer, sometimes one AB, one maestro helps a lot, and the rest are supplementary and for certain strategies. Genetics and other classes can AOE so a "monster clear" class like a Ranger isn't even required, but are nice sometimes. Teamwork really is key so some of your guild members might want to "take one for the team" and make one of those classes mentioned. Real ET isn't as "fun" as everyone would want it to and a good group usually ends up having one main killer and the rest are support (one tank). One killer also works better for gum purposes.

You could try having your WL cast Quagmire on the MvP to remove the AGI Up effect.

 

But yeah, consider changing your party jobs.

just some maths

 

monster flee = (100 + base level + agi)

samurai spectre flee = (100 + 100 + 161) = 361 flee

100% hit rate = (100 + attacker hit - defender flee)

therefore you need 100 more hit than than the monster flee for 100% hit, so you need 461 hit for normal samurai spectre

 

npc agi up doubles monster flee rate

agi up samurai spectre = (100 + 100 + 161) x 2 = 722 flee

then you need to add 100 hit for 100% hit, so you need 822 hit for agi up samurai spectre

 

now level 5 quagmire does help, as it lowers monsters agi by 50% or -50 agi whichever is lower and it will remove the increase agi movement speed

agi up samurai spectre with quagmire = (100 + 100 + (161 - 50)) x 2 = 622 flee

then you need to add 100 hit for 100% hit, so you need 722 hit for agi up samurai spectre with quagmire effect

 

now i dunno how possible it would be for your ranger to get 722 hit without phreeoni cards, but stacking crit would definitely be the way to go

Have your ever tried kiting Specter with Unlimit+AS by ranger. I kill him in like 3-4 AS.

Also, if his hell judgement is hitting everyone for 30k, yall're missing gear. The bulk of the party is supposed to be in pneuma though (like on any mvp that does HJ), though, so you shouldn't be getting hit by it.

You want the pneuma to be on yourselves and not the MVP however. Pneuma on the MVP will also mean your own ranged attacks will miss the MVP. Ideally all except the tanker should be within one Pneuma, but most parties are too disorganized / uncoordinated for that.

the melees should just stand to the side with the range this fight, and just leave the tank on the boss. otherwise it'll get ugly fast.

idk, but our RG will be the killer if samurai spectre agi up. i think he's using perfect hit weapon or something i cant remember.

RG use gungnir weapon(perfect hit+25) with ancient mummy card set better(perfect hit+20), GX and ranger use crit, RK tank, crit or Dragon breath, AB safety wall GX and tanker and pnuema other

Sorry for the late reply. Been busy with work, family, fans, the usual. I am not a Mado Mechanic right now, no. I reset to an Axe build. Waiting on the Mado Mechanic gears to be released before I change back to Mado Mech.
