is this still active? are they still banning those bots? i still see those bots farming and they are currently increasing in numbers. the last time i saw it there was only about 3 bots in the maps that i have reported but now there are too many of them to count.

I would argue this thread hasn't been used for at least a week if not longer

depending on the map you're reporting, it can be very quick for people to set up bot farms again. low level stuff like spores or payon dungeon do get cleaned out regularly but it takes almost no effort to get a farm up and running again.

It's extremely frustrating when Im trying to kill some Alice but all these botters make it impossible.

It's not fun anymore when you cant even fight a certain mob because of bots.

This is coming from a relatively new player to the game. Starting out Payon Cave level 2 was a nightmare to play in. There were just so many bots in there. and then there was the payon map with the spores and strawberry farming bots. Rediculous...i thought id escaped the problem as i leveled to orc village. BUT oh no! The map north of geffen was so full of bots that when i try to attack a mob some bot has already killed it before i can even walk close. FRUSTRATING. I had VIP and i felt like RO was a terrible experience. Anyway, i tough it out...make it all the way to Gramps TI thinking the bots wont be able to come to this high level...but guess what i saw on my way to Robot Factory Level 1? Bots and bots and bots hunting those grand pecos and mantis and flowers there . I was seriously getting ticked off. Then i thought to myself...surely there cant be bots in the factory! But I make my way in only to find a aliza, aliots...and like 2 or 3 alice in the whole map. And guess what else i saw in there? BOTS. Sophisticated bots. hunting only alice. One hunted alice so bad to the point where it didnt bother to fight the exploding mobs and died because it was focused on the alice. Needless to say i gave up looking for alice...ruining my hope of finding an alice card to fight mvps with...

GMs, please do something about this. I propose going after the high level bots who are camping for lucrative drops...who make it impossible for real players to have a shot at getting these items. This will stop ppl frm massing zenys this way and probably selling for real money.

It will also stop these 'players' from having an extreme unfair advantage in the game over legit players...esp the newbies like myself. It really does feel horrible to play so hard only to mass up a few million zenys...only to realize the good items cost hundreds of millions and out of reach probably for the entire time I will play RO. Whereas these botters could end up having end-game items in little time...

Going to the reported dungeon/maps honestly takes maybe 10 minute tops. And the problem is easily seen.

Unlike the low level bots, eliminating these high level ones would
1. eliminate players trying to cheat the game with their 'hard earned' high level trans character...hope they would be devastated with their loss. Lets real players have fair competition.
2. Slow down high profile zeny farmers looking to sell for real money probably. (20 mil loots vs 500 zeny loots)
3. Let real players have a more fun game experience after toughing out the endless amounts of low level bots.

i sincerely hope something is going to be done about those high level and high profile bots ruining the meta and end game

1) Female healer soloing there.... been seeing her there for at least 2 days straight whenever im there. It's like she's never off. Has bot-like behaviour. (100% sure is bot)

2) Alchemist class player with Amistr, using Castling spam and walking up to mob's that Amistr's killing, then walking back. (80% sure is bot)

 

Added:

3) The Alchemist guy is still around and botting. I'm 100% sure it's a bot.
And he's now accompanied by another Alchemist wearing a Bird-looking helm with a Sera.

Please remove them soon, cheating is unfair..
