is Poll Axe usefull/give better result when using skill example*Pierce or

other spear such as pike with cards are better?

it used to be the best spear to use for clashing spiral, there's better options nowadays, but if you are gonna use it for anything, its clashing spiral.

Poll axe is not good anymore. 

 

Back in the early days of trans classes (ie, ages ago), Poll Axe was great, best weap for clashing spiral, and it stayed that way for ages. I bought mine for 140m or so I think, back when that was a lot more zeny than it is now. They used to say, you weren't a lord knight until you had a poll axe (at that point, it was really rare too)

 

But that was ages ago. 

 

Even on classic, there are much better options that are cheap as well. 

 

Now, all it's good for is making fun of the misspelling in the name. A "Poll Axe"? I know what a "Pole Axe" is, that's an axe on a pole. But what's a poll axe? A poll is an election or vote. So I suppose a Poll Axe is an axe you use to threaten voters when you're rigging an election?
