Hey I hav a lvl 148 sura who I've just reseted to a CC 5 FC 3 TC 6 RD 9 build. This is mainly for lvling till 175. But I hav few questions. Does FC skill level directly affect the damage output? Cuz the skill description only says it activates all the 4 combos successively.if it doesn't isnt it better to just get Lvl 1 FC and Max TC and get other skills.instead? Is this build worth in bio4 levelling? I was planning on getting and end of game.build with FC2 TC 10 and RD and GoH 10. Is it good? And can someone
please give me some ideas on gears I should use for levelling with the build u suggest . I'll get to 150 soon so please take 150-175 leveling as ur basis.

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!!

if you use FC, should max it - higher ATK bonus (+120 at lvl-5), less delay (can chain a 2nd FC almost right after the 1st);

the only skill that really matters and should be maxed within the FC chain is TC;

regarding skill priorities:

if you solo, you won't have to use CC much;

if you play in party, playing as CC/windmill puller is nice;

if talking about bio4 leveling, rather than the build, would say that gears determine whether it's worth to solo;

shura with standard gear just end up having to join parties to level there;

the end-build you mentioned is one good possible skill set;

leveling gear:  ToH, GW-VIT-snakeskin, GF-VIT-tempboots, glorious suit (ele-armor if needed), MoH;

other subs:  VIT-FAW, GF/FS-e.variants, HBP

shield racial reduc cards and weapon depend on leveling map; (ex. KvM mace best vs demi-human; 2x caramel carga vs insect)

always use converters and target the monster weakest to that element within the mob

there's also food/consumable buffs (ex. increase-HP-pots)

Thanks a lot bro was helpful :)
Hmmm but about maxing FC.I thought bout it but how would a plus 120 atk rmake a difference wen it lasts only for 4 secs? Though the skill delay reduction does matter a lot.And could u plz tell me what suras usually do in bio4 parties? Do they ms tank or snap pull CC or stick to atking(dont know whether FC or TC would really be able to one shot or atleast w to 4 shot them) mobs or do they just kill leftovers?
Wen using 2 FCs successively would the plus 120 atk increase the eng of the second TC I mean sis the gap between the first skyblow and the second TC less than 4 secs? Or will it be better to just FC+TC in pairs?

And finally what skill and stat builds u suggest for bio4 lvling? THANKS A LOT ONCE AGAIN!!!

the ATK bonus starts as soon as FC begins, basically boosting the skills it executes (basically makes the TC ~20% stronger);

FC lasts about 4 sec, cooldown is 5 sec, so you cant stack the ATK bonus;

on the last 1~2 sec of FC, there is a window when the ATK bonus is still active but you can already move, pot, or use skills;

this is where you can use the ATK bonus and do a manual combo TC/GoH (provided you have enough AGI and DEX for less combo delay), or cast fast GoHs (esp under strings), or sacramented/KvMfist-casted GFist;

this window starts right before the SB animation (right when 撃 appears, or the first thud sound effect before SB), and ends right after the SB animation/second thud sound effect;

bio4 parties you either MS tank or lure/windmill/CC; if you're super geared you could probably contribute fine w/ FC, but usually killing is left for rangers, RK, high DPS, etc;

so generally parties would rather have shura focus on tank/lure/lockdown (can purely focus on reducs, instead of damage gears)

for soloing, if you can't 1~2 shot there, you'd most likely end up dead trying to wear the mob down, esp a big mob spamming skills on you;

PA, WM, RD-10, FC-5, TC-10;

CC-5 (if party; job-53)

or GTR-3 (if solo; really want HP damage boost; job-60)

STR:  100-110+

VIT:  105-120+

DEX:  90-100

AGI:  1(really stat conservative); 40-70(quite balanced); ~90(WoE/PvP oriented)

INT:  1-90~ (SP isn't really an issue, does affect TC damage but very very minor; careful - can get statused more [ex. silence, oblivion, deep sleep] if INT is too low)

LUK:  30-60

with the 175 update; we got more stat points available to boost STR/VIT further beyond the usual base 100~105 range

Thanks that was great help!! :). Really appreciate it :)
BTW one last question why do people usually go for damage boosting headgears or somethingll like ToH (heard that eggs are damn costly and u can't buy them from NPCs,and also heard they heal less than a pumpkin)instead of whitch pumpkin hat combo or RHB? Wouldn't carrying some 2.6k pumps or carrots be better than all those Hp boosts to save ur ass u can spam them a lot but still people prefer ToH .is ther anyway to get many eggs easily?

you wear ToH while doing FC for damage (you can't use pots while FCing anyways);

then just switch to WPH (have to default alarm mask on mid-low) when healing/gathering mob;

for players who don't use WPH-alarm (ie. want to use mid-low for stat gears), they just use slims;

RHB is still on par with WPH currently, though will be reverted to the nerfed state sometime (by then, the healing will be a bit too weak for a high HP class like shura);
