hopefully someone can help me?

 

I have a 99/70 MS and distributed all my stat points and job points.

 

I have also done the mechanic job quest, and been teleported back to Juno but when I spoke to the last NPC chainheart he

 

gave me a driver band but no Green apple ring and says 'don't you want to become a mechanic and enjoy true happiness?'

 

but I don't change into a mechanic and remain a MS.

 

is there a bug or something I've missed?

 

It's driving me crazy??!!!!

any chance you were having too many items in your inventory?

each character can only hold 100 different items. i think some quest npc won't let you advance to the next step if you having more than 90 items in inventory.

I followed the guide at irowiki and I didn't have any issues. Check the guide and retrace your steps to see if you missed anything, although I'm sure that you did everything correctly since you were teleported back to Juno.

 

If chr0nicles suggestion doesn't work, submit a ticket.

I followed the irowiki guide to the letter, but I reckon chr0nicles is right - my inventory was too much /swt

 

I've submitted a ticket, soooo let the waiting games begin!!!

do you still have your cart? Can't change to Gene if the cart was on.

Yeah I tried it without the cart still go.

Interesting - it's really unfortunate that the script gets derailed by being over 100 item limit. It ought to jobchange you before trying to give you the items.
