I'm just wondering where I should try leveling. Maybe it's my gear that isn't very good (it really isn't good), or maybe it's my build since I messed up on stat spending order, but I seem to get Wrekt everywhere I try to go to solo. I'm so out of the loop now, I haven't played this game in years and don't really know much about leveling past 100. I know the ideal place is high TI with AS, but I can only do it so much, and sometimes I just don't feel like messing with TI and just want to solo grind.

 

My goal is to be auto attack build but if my current one is bad and I should respec, I am willing to, but I'm not gonna respec like trap and then have to respec back at 150+. Plus I only have like 100 mil, I can't really buy gear that's all that hot.. But I guess I do have 4k KP, so I could make money easily. Any advice would be great! I really want to get to 150 soon! Ranger isn't my main, so take my input with a grain of salt.

 

Auto-attack build: This is fine as an endgame build for MvPing, etc. However, can't recommend it for leveling. Single-target killing just isn't going to work.

 

Leveling: Arrow Storm is your best way of leveling until you reach the endgame. There's no way around that. High TI with party. If you want to solo, you can try Scaraba, Bio 2, or guild dungeons.

 

Stats: If you're going to solo, I recommend more Int. Arrow Storm is all variable cast, and you should work towards instant cast via stats. For instant cast via stats, you need to hit DEX*2 + INT = 530. That's through your base stats, equipment bonuses, food, and buffs. If you don't want to reset your stats, your only choice really is to party.

Hmmm... I've been auto attacking since the beginning. I wouldn't say that its not good for leveling but I managed to be able to solo places because of it. I don't really have a 175 ranger tho. I think its because I refused to use bm on it and I don't really play 24/7. But I think that it all depends on your preference in playing style(whether you prefer to solo or party). There are plenty of ways in terms of leveling no matter what build you are. What I think the most important is the gears to have in order to survive. Pasana armor is a good start. Try to get a bathory one . Mora bounty boards should be a good one for your lvl.

A decent spot i used at around 135-150 to make zeny but also gave decent exp was Bio2 killing Wickebine for Rogue's Treasure just use your camo-->AS-->camo and fly wing if you get hit its decent for Aspd builds who have AS!! Mora is also nice just bring fire elemental convertors and AS-->Ctrlclick.

 

Edit: you really shouldn't need to respec just get more Vit so you can survive a little more with the 175 update you can still get max agi and decent luk but the vit is also important. don't really worry too much about leveling spots anyways just level where you have the most fun. Dont become a mindless ti zombie

i want to suggest trapping in scaraba or luina 2 since the spot is pretty fast and trapper friendly. but since you dont want trapper advice, nevermind then
