Maybe The Old Glast Heim Memorial Nightmare Mode is coming next Wednesday, so....

What you guys think about soloing it with GX as we already do with the normal mode?

I'm a bit concerned about the Nightmare Amdarais

I was watching some videos (they are hard to find) in which players are fighting this instance, one RG and the other video was a party with Ranger and a Tanking GX (Shield+Dagger)

Some interesting things I've noticed:

1) He spams a LOT of Dark Cross (Shadow version of the Crusader Holy Cross), so  better wear Bathory Card 100% time.
2) He sometimes uses Meteor Storm, so, Fireproff and middle Headgear for resist?
3) The spaw of monster (Kalitz, Raydrics, Bloody Knights) are more constant than the normal version and they spaw everywhere.

Some informations about his status:
1) You need 546 Flee to Dodge 95%, so, we get usually about 470-490? Will it be a problem? Coz Hallucination Walk works only for 50 seconds.
2) He got Flee, LUK and Def veeeery low, so, no problem to hti him, right? (damm my Drake is on an Ice Pick =/)
3) He got 255 STR, so.. Thats pretty much no? Maybe a hard fight if you remember thats a bit hard to dodge himm 95%?
4) He got 169 INT, so maybe a annoying Meteor Storm to pot and resist?
5) Last observation, he got 43m HP. I can kill the normal Amdarais in 15 seconds, so, no chance to kill the Nightmare one in the 50 secs of the Hallucination Walk, right?

Well, lets discuss a little about this new challenging or not MvP

Just leave the Reflect Shield behind and give us a hardcore but possible MvP xD

as long as anything has some skill with cast time, u can Spell Break it to death lol, or at least, remove 98% of its hp, wich would leave the nightmare one with about 800~900k hp, enough to kill with 3~4 CRS

I think I could bomb it with Gene if that came down to the only class to do it with but spell breaker will be nice for GX

Cart Cannon should be more effective dps against Amdarais, assuming its similar to the normal one. Probably the best class to solo it would be GX(Spell Break), Genetic(just being a genetic), Royal Guard, Ranger, RK, Mech(when new GH comes is, probably the new mech equips should already been released, so u can knuckle boost it?). As for duo, if u have anyone to tank for u, any Ranged dmg class, even my magic oboro should do it( she is hell stronk >.<)

Ashuckel, on the skill list posted up there, we cant see the reflect shield skill.

may i ask you where did you saw it? Could you share the link with us?

I did saw it on several kRO vids, there's no skill list of the mvp, but is pretty clear and easy to see when Reflect Shield is used( the yellow circle)

Also, too bad at the Reflect Damage thingy.

The Mechanic is using gear from the Verus update. It's like the Mora gear for Mechanics. 50% more dmg from Arm Cannon and 20% reduction in after cast delay. Each Accessory adds 30% to Knuckle Boost DMG.

 

ODA said that we won't be getting that gear for a long time.

 

I'm pretty sure he's using Macro's to spam that fast.

and, well, seems we will need both fire and water resist, or a gtb....

A genetic with bayeri and gtb is probably on of the easiest to solo this mvp, since u wont take any dmg at all

that's not amdarais reflect. Vanishing Point is a ranged attack, so reflect wont affect it. that's his inspiration compensation. every attack he do will take 1% of his damage as compensation.
