Hey everyone, thinking of playing RO2. I've played RO for years and I currently play Guild Wars 2 now, but I'm deciding to join RO2 because I want to enjoy raiding and growing my character. My question for you all is, RO2 still popular? How is the future looking for the MMO? Should I join and play?

Ah.. raiding is dead and the game is slowly dying, unfortunately. Like the above said you're joining at the worst time because everything is pretty much done. Raiding won't really benefit you except for finishing up kharas, so no one really cares.

If you don't mind a steady-ish community and lots of grinding or derping about, then by all means, come and join us~

All the things the other says it's true BUT all of them still play this game so it still need to have something good.

Welcome Lightsbane! We just added a new level cap and region to the game a few weeks ago, and development will be continuing expanding with content through 2015, so come join us! It's a colorful community

Game is confirmed rip and has a terrible relationship with its players. Because the developers know best considering how they don't even play the game lol. Full of bugs and exploits. Only thing good about this game is the players but in every mmo you get scumbags so *shrugs* i wouldnt recommend playing.

We play for our friends  but the game itself has been disappointing players base for a while now. I guess everyone's still hoping for a miracle.

Big part of them, yes, but there is a smaller group of people who actually still playing because of haters/ hypocrites/ ignorants/ idiots. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who finds them entertaining. Plus, people will keep staying - or returning - as long as they feel like they belong here.

I may be the odd one out, but I still find some of the game quite enjoyable. I am still playing the lvl 1-50 areas, questing (nevermind that I level too fast), kharas, collecting outfits & pets, etc...

I don't see the need to rush to Master Level and Grind/Farm all the time. I have ONE character that I will take thru Master Levels. The rest will be lvl 1-50, so I can 'escape' with a light heart.

The sights and sounds of the lvl 1-50 maps are rich, the quests are dorky but cute, the armor-sets are fun to collect just to see what they look like, and there are some awesome people here.

That being said, I do not recommend this game for a PvP player unless/untill class balance can be remotely realized. But the lvl 1-50 content is still enjoyable and playable with perhaps one

exception. Raids. It's too hard to form a party of peers in appropriate gear to do each dungeon as you reach it in the Main Quest. It's still possible to get thru the dungeons by other means tho...

You just need a guild that can help you a bit. but try questing from lvl 1-50 to familiarize yourself with the UI and the game itself. MAIN quests only can be just fine to gain levels

This isn't the same game after AOV, pre-aov was great but overall wouldn't recommend playing this.
