Hi All,

 

I have a decent idea for getting our community to grind for zeny more and possibly this will balance the market in some ways. 

 

How about implementing an item which will make the loot that you sell to NPC 3 times of its value. 

 

The item works similar to BattleManual or a Bubblegum where it has 15 mins of usage time.

 

The item should be obtainable by a daily quest or similar and not through kafra shop.

 

It is also ok obtaining this item by competing a mini hunt quest with 6 hours cool-down. Possibly hunting 100 monsters of a particular kind and this monster keeps changing every week.

 

(Do not make it too elaborate like 150 monsters of 4 types(Bounty Boards) or so as that would just kill the motive of making people interested in grinding.)

 

Also i have already thought of a name for this item, a simple one, "CHARGER".

Bots will always be thr... Its upto the Server owners to fix the auto AI to work on the server.

 

This i thought would encourage normal players too, since most of the people in game do no pick up loots.

you're talking about introducing even more zeny into a game with no real zeny sinks.  that makes it even harder for new players to get started since everything costs more due to inflation.

 

additionally, the vend limit is currently stuck at 99 mil, having something like this makes it even more likely that things will cost more than that threshold, forcing people to either sit in eden all day or park an alt with a chat up and be constantly alt-tabbing between the two clients.

most of the people in game do no pick up loots.

Nobody picks up most loot because doing so is horribly inefficient in terms of making money, which is one of the reasons why having an item that makes vendor trash 3x as valuable is a horrible idea. You'll make more money hunting for specific things that players need (gears, quest items, ores, etc.) than you ever will dumping 10,000 jellopies off at the nearest NPC, even at 3x the value.

Hell no, we already have too much zeny in game.  We need to find a way to get rid of some, not add more.

Oh well... Just a thought.

 

Balance the market? New ppl will get to have enough zeny to buy basic cards. Since market is high priced.

 

If you are looking for ideas to reduce the zeny flow into the game, its better to try stop releasing new kafra items every month or yet again make them obtainable by quest instead of kafra shop.

i see what you mean. thing is, the more money people have the higher the prices will rise... it's called inflation.

how do kafra shop items increase the amount of zeny on the server? person A buys a kafra shop item (it costs KP/WPE, not zeny). person B buys the kafra shop item off person A. zeny is transferred between person B and person A. 0 zeny is created that wasn't there before.

Buying from the gold sellers however, in addition to being a bannable offense, does increase the amount of zeny on the server.
