So, I have a question. How many hours does it take to reach 99 (2nd class) in classic? /no1

I don't see the point of putting a class/level when I have like 40 characters that are level 100+, many of which are 140+. And every class in the game. I can use w/e helps the new person the most.

I just want to say that I am enjoying the small, yet friendly Classic community that I have experienced lately.

I had a chat up with my merch asking to buy 2 yellow gems, a lovely rogue GAVE me 100 and wouldn't accept a payment.

Also, thanks Xellie for adding an old lady's new rogue to your guild. Been a lot of years since we saw each other

Absolutely no problem. If someone mistakes you for an alt and boots you for space (we have a lot of coming and going alts in guild) just come get re-added ;3

Hmm, not sure how I missed this.

 

It just depends on the resources you have available. For an established player it would go something like this:

 

- Training grounds using janeway to 20 (5~10 minutes)

- Either more janeway, or using a hide clip and a mercenary in anubis with the free 3x buff and teleport from the VIP npc to 70 (half hour or less)

- Antelope horns to 86 (5 minutes max, it's like turning in prize medals)

- A few turn ins of dragons (200 gold) to 99 (depends on the experience of your party but shouldn't take more than an hour)

It'll take me months before I can get that Holy Avenger if I'll just rely with the 12 EMBs I get per day. 

Also, other newbies won't exchange their EMBs for KVM badges since they can exchange it for something that'll give them profit.

uh you wouldn't be able to trade kvm weapons anyway, if you're talking about the glorious holy avenger.

pound that seal 4 quest in the meantime. you'll probably not have any competition since everyone hates that quest.

Yeah, sadly. Good thing KVM gears here are storageable, so I won't need to get same KVM stuff in one account.

 

Is the 1st Seal quest already available? I tried doing those quests before but all seals was released so I was only able to finish the prereq.

um all the seals should be closed again except for seal 4. this last time around seals 1-3 were all open at the same time. I was quite surprised.

If that's a bug or something, then I think I just have to take advantage of it.

it's not a bug; it's just that normally all the seals besides 4 roll really quickly.

Sometimes I like that RPS fight with the dwarf in seal 4, other times I don't. In one of my sessions of going through seal 4 with multiple characters simultaneously (I was trying to get an Ice Pick), I beat him first try with two characters, after a handful of attempts with another two characters, but those last two characters took several attempts spread out over two additional days. Also no Ice Pick after almost 20 quest completions. Don't really want to do that quest again.

It's not a bug. Each seal quest has a threshold of 50 completions (next seal opens, or in the case of seal 4, a guild is able to create a god item) and 100 completions (quest closed completely). If more than one seal quest is open at the same time, it just means that seal quest hasn't reached the 100 completion threshold yet.

 

In-game announcement (yellow text):
Seal of [name] has appeared -- 50-count finished and next seal is open

Seal of [name] has been released -- 100-count finished

 

Status board near the first NPC in Prontera for seal 4 quest:

Open: less than 50 completions

Nearly released: 50 or more completions but less than 100

Released: 100-count finished
