Finally decided to address the problem with party search in RO and came up with this revamp to go with the rest of my RO UI revamps.



Took out Job selection as a filter because that can be answered by the party leader his/herself. Kept level and map since those are usually what people are looking for when partying up. Added an area for comments so the party leader can specify exactly what the party is for and the number column shows how many slots are left in the party. With comments, the party booking system can also double as a way to inform people of DBs on certain maps.

On top of this, players should be able to toggle some kind of "I'm searching for a party" button on screen somewhere, and messages would appear in your message box every 1 minute or so, "There is a party in your level range recruiting. Check booking for details" etc.

I simply copied RO2's booking system which is vastly superior to RO's and much better advertised thanks to a better laid-out UI. The booking system is basically designed as a bulletin board for people wanting to recruit others, so players looking for a party are meant to simply search through party listings and join the one they want. I guess when kRO designed the party booking system for both games, they went for a real-life job search kind of deal.
