If you guys had read the news at Dragon Saga's Facebook page https://www.facebook...gonsaga?fref=ts Multi-clienting has been banned and this will encourage people to quit DragonSaga. I don't know if this is WarpPortal's plan to close DragonSaga or something <--- Rumor that has been going around. I personally do not multi-client becuz my PC just suck . _ . not that id do it even if it didnt since im full on PvP. Well, I don't really want DragonSaga to close down but if it is going to then ;-; 

 

OPINION: This problem arose because of the lack of promotions for PvP. If people weren't playing DragonSaga as if they are playing MapleStory, maybe this wouldnt have happen :/

 

Lack of PvP = People Decide to farm = Multi-Client is the easiest way = Multi-Client ban = Players leave = DragonSaga no $$$ = DragonSaga close.

 

Remember what happened to DragonSaga last time? "We are not planning to close down" 3 months later it closed down.

A few months ago, I said that the game will close soon but VModPopcorn said on trade chat "We are not planning to close now or in the near future." Well it has been exactly 2-3 Months already. Tradition will repeat itself.

In a more serious tone : History, while certain eras may appear similar, doesn't repeat itself, for the very fact people writing it change from one day to another. One thing hasn't changed though : of all times, people have liked to spread rumors and believed some kinds of superior beings were planning on taking over the world, things like this. So the mere fact of someone saying probably the server soon will shut down can't scare me : Warpportal isn't adopting the "strategy" of producers feeling the time to shut down is near, they even are taking over the development of this game.

 

As for the multi-clienting issue... errm... I don't feel it's because of PvP... rather a trend in asian MMORPGs to make everything so long and painful that you are willing to pay to ease the pain a bit. While our producer (team ?) makes it feel lighter by holding weekly rewarding events, the deep patterns can't change that easily. How about I try to guess and calculate chances of looting white Paris' wings, just to prove my point ? o/

Anyway, I had a server and if a person logs in with multiple accounts, I can see the IP and know whether that person is multi-clienting. I don't know if it is the same as Dragon Saga but if something so -_-ty like a Minecraft server can run on my computer, then probably it should have it on their servers.

That completely disregards the fact that one single IP address can correspond to an entire LAN through NAT. Five unique people could be playing on your sever on multiple computers, but only show up as one IP address if they're connecting behind the same modem.

Please stop spamming every forum page with the same complaint as no one can be tell you why you were banned. It's best to submit a ticket and wait for a reply. They are normally good at responding quickly.
