Hello everyone,

I could use your help please.

I play a Wizard master lvl 10.

I play mostly solo.

Today I met a leveling problem. I'm picking on Mukas, but the points do not go fast. Does he have an area where I could farm the points?
On the other hand, is anyone know a site that would speak zones for leveling lvl masters?

Thank you all and good game

Playing solo in master level is painfully slow unfortunately. You are better off finding a party to gather large mobs of Mukas and killing them together. You will see a much quicker increase in your MP this way.

I confirm that it is very long.
The problem is that to find a group with a Wizard ...
Are often accused me of being single mobs, it's going slower

Hi! I agree, finding a party as a Wizard can be very difficult. Here's a few things you can do to help:

  • Make sure you're already at Muka when you look. Many groups won't want to wait for you to get there, and may find another party member while waiting.
  • Don't advertise being a Wizard - simply say that you are DPS.
  • If you have Inferno, Meteor Storm, Frost Nova, or Thunderstorm, make sure you use them:
    • Use Inferno on a group right before Meteor Storm to boost the damage
    • Use Frost Nova on a collected group of Muka right before Thunderstorm to double that damage. Unfortunately, the cooldowns for these skills are high, so the group may not think you are doing much
    • If you happen to be in a party with a Sorcerer, you can use Frost Nova on a group near them. The Freeze state from your Frost Nova will double the damage from their Lord of Vermilion (red storm cloud)
  • Put a "Destruction" (red) element on your weapon (if you have a Menace and don't want to make another, just grab a Desert Scorpion one, or use the one from your rank-up test if you still have it). Destruction is good against Muka, and will double the damage.
  • Keep in mind that weekends from Friday (17:00 Server Time) to Monday (12:00 Server Time) are 3x exp gain, so even if you have to do it alone, that should help. There's also more likely to be parties during this time.
  • You can also do some daily quests on the boards in Morroc and Dayr desert. They don't give as much as a party would, but it's a change of pace and will also give some money.

You only have one more level (9400 mp) to go until you can go to Osiris grind! Osi parties tend to be more common, so it shouldn't be as hard to find a party there. The amount of mp per enemy is also higher, so leveling will be faster. At this point you can also buy extra skill points fairly easily to put into Inferno & Meteor Storm if you don't have them already.

Which server do you play on?

Thank you very much for all this information!

I do not know, it's every weekend?

Indeed, in this case, it helps to go much faster in progress.

Am I the only wizard that solo/duo leveled to ML 20 ):

Soloing Mukas was pretty fast for me (I didn't use exp boosts weekends either). With Destruction element on any old Desert Scorpion weapon you can find, you should be able to one-shot Mukas with Fireball (including the damage over time). So cast, switch targets, cast, switch targets. Really easy. You can also throw Firebolts out if you want to get some Fireball Mastery/Fire Emblem procs for instant cast Fireballs.

But like Tou said, you can reach Osiris dungeon soon, so just sit back and cast Meteor Storm when you get there (people like to see it for some reason, even though Max Thunderstorm was much better than Max Meteor Storm on my char). I literally just have 1 point in Meteor Storm so people won't kick me lol, but I sneak in Thunderstorms when they aren't paying attention.

Finding a party with a wizard is not that hard if you max meteor storm then you'll get loved, trust me, i'm not that PVE as much as other wizards but the thing i can say= of course you cannot heal but your AOEs will be much appreciated :)

For me you won't need to use frost or ice skills, because it's a waste of time mostly in party, the mobs will follow the tank which is supposed to take the aggro, then if you ice them, the tank will have to make sure that  his "spin" AOE will reach them, regardless of having party, if you're leveling solo then yeah...using ice skills will surely help you but...to be honnest...that will be painful for you to level solo. get a party with average of 4-5 members in order to get the MPs increased.

Regardless of PVP, Wizard is a unbalanced in PVE but and i say "but" you can do many things as a wizard in PVE (but if you like PVP then well...let's say you did not knock on the right door :) )

Thank you very much for all that information.
Long live the xp bonus of the weekend and a great band that allowed me to get to lvl11.

By cons, someone could advise me on skill points?
I have to 50/50 INT and AGI?

First of all, Wizards can heal... at least themself.

As Arbalist has pointed out, I felt that Thunderstorm is superior to Meteor Swarm. And noone talks about freezing targets as long as the tank is still mobbing them. Frost Nova or Embus is used to maximize the DPS. Personally, I preferred Frost Nova to be able to use a different pet instead... and that's another point:

Wizards should get themself a decent pet!

And since I focussed on vigor as much as I could, I could use Ymir Form and Teleport quite often, increasing the movement speed as well... because IMO, players hate 'slow' classes much more than 'weak' ones.

But even if you do all that, some players might still have a hard time leveling their character. The two reasons: Party XP/MP bonus & guild affiliations. If you don't have a your regular grinding party, aren't part of a larger guild or in a bad timezone, it's not that easy to level-up, especially later on.
