Suggestion: Kill Boas and Wormtails near Alberta instead, those monsters give the same XP as spores do (and boas are the same level as spores, too, so you won't even get scaling differences.)
Boas also drop strawberries at 6% chance, same as spores.
It is also not botted on that map.
Primary boa map: payon forest 2
Primary wormtail map: payon forest 6

hmm, i know but is not about moving to another map.

now i wonder why you want to stop people from getting Straws... botted or otherwise.
Posted 02 March 2015 - 03:10 PM
I understand, but when faced with a rabid dog in front of you, it is better to simply walk around. You cannot reason with an unreasonable thing.
If you want the DBing to stop then you'd have to communicate to the people who are spitefully DBing to kill bots. To them, it is worth it, because they already know their DB will kill low level real players but they are willing to do it anyway.
I guess, what I am trying to say, is that even though I agree with the principle of your post that I would still suggest going to another map because at the end of the day it is your gameplay experience that matters.

Have you ever been in a gathering guild before? A guild dedicated solely to paying its members to collect a certain amount of mats and pay them for it as per requests from other players/guilds?
(Made my 1st bil like that. Good times.)

ohh boy they DB'ed the map again, where are the GM's... this is terrible.
Posted 02 March 2015 - 03:46 PM
What happend to the "kill this DB/BB monster" thread? It was a way for people to report monsters on that field.
anyway, what are the DB monsters and where are they? If you give info, someone with a higher level char can come in and clean them up.

this amount of DB's i dont think a new player would have enough zeny to do this...

Then someone got crazy with the Amulets....
Have you tried asking for help to the guilds that hang around in Payon? Some players are very nice and will try to help.

Yeah, I'm not at home so I don't have the game to go clean it up, but I'm sure someone from Animosity can handle it easily. There are plenty of them that hang out in Payon town near the Kafra. You could go ask or put up a chat.

this is really intresting i know names are forbidden to post but its a assasin cross the guy who is dbing the map

Try a support ticket if you have a specific name to report, do not post the name in the forum. You can, however, post in this thread for the monsters themselves: http://forums.warppo...r-thread/page-7

alright, thank you.

I'll clean it. Almost done.
Posted 02 March 2015 - 04:29 PM
haha nice, well my findings are quite fantastic although i talked with the assasin his main argument was he didnt cared about getting banned, he had a ton of zeny across different account, and his main reason of existence ingame was to DB botters, but i wasnt, you are only hurting real players with this behavior.
haha hope you had your drama of the day. (unbelievable)

There should be a global broadcasting of a message that repeats itself that says: "Spawning monsters from dead-branches or amulets or bloody branches, will not help get rid of bots in map. If you are the one who caused it, we can track you and issue a temporary ban or something... If there are monsters that doesn't belong to the map, report it to: link to kill this branch monster thread!"
Since most people here new players, experienced vets or vets that is coming back from a long hiatus mode, doesn't read much of the forums having a global broadcast message of what I said before could be quite informative to them and could probably lessen the grieving and mass-spawns of monsters from so-called vigilantes players wherever they decide to do it. That's just my idea though.

I'm killing some monsters right now
EDIT:
So there's this guy who's summoning those monsters because he wants to get banned and meet Oda before he quits... plus he wants to kill botters. So yea...

I strongly disagree. This was my thought first but I was totally wrong. Bots in iRO is also rampant and I know what I'm saying. It is also not botted on that map

I regularly level my new characters one map west and then south of Alberta. If there are bots there, then they are very few.
