Hi,

 

I´ve just changed to GX and I am really having fun with this char (even tho I am more of a wizard char type fanatic). I currently have 2 weapons and I cant decide which one will be better as a main weapon... on one hand I have a +9 Infiltrator with fighting spirit 6 and Agi +4 and on the other hand I have a +7 Aural Durga. I thought that the Durga would gave me a better critical rate and attack but in general I dont see real changes when I put on one or the other. if I manage to increase the Durga from +7 to +9 would improve its performance compared with infiltrator or it wont? Any opinion is welcome.

dont bother to upgrade your durga to +9.. just level up, then get your hand on thanatos katar. It is free and a lot better for leveling.

Your Infiltrator is level 4 and Durga is level 3, so the over upgrades give more benefit to the infiltrator. Their base attack difference is only 50 which is reduced by the difference in upgrade and the fighting spirit enchant. You'll also see wayyy more damage on demi human monsters with the infiltrator, of course, even if you're just critting. 

 

But yeah, don't bother over upgrading the Durga. Thanatos katar > damn near any other general use katar right now, with the only exceptions being over upped KVM or an mvp killing chakram. 

 

BUT SIR, MIGHT I INTEREST YOU IN THIS FINE +9 BLOOD TEARS WITH FIGHTING SPEAR 4/4 AND A HUNTERFLY CARD IN IT? ONLY 70 MIL AND IF YOU ACT NOW I'LL EVEN INCLUDE A COMPLEMENTARY POISON BOTTLE  SO THAT YOU CAN BECOME THE MVP MURDERING MACHINE YOU WERE MEANT TO BE

Your Infiltrator is level 4 and Durga is level 3, so the over upgrades give more benefit to the infiltrator. Their base attack difference is only 50 which is reduced by the difference in upgrade and the fighting spirit enchant. You'll also see wayyy more damage on demi human monsters with the infiltrator, of course, even if you're just critting.

Thanks for the advice... I wont lvl up anymore the durga.  Regarding the thanatos katar I put my hands on one already and Ive added HF card to it, but I didnt notice that was for 120 and up so I was really dissapointed when I tried to use it... My GX is currently lvl 110 so...wont be long until I can use this katar.

Thanks for the advice mykayel!!! sadly I spent my money on the thanatos kattar and I have now just 30mill at the moment but if I manage to get more money and sell some stuff I might be interested... I am really having fun with the GX and I will be happy to have different gears for it.

You may be a bit upset at not being able to use the Thanatos katar right now, but tbh you can easily level to 120 with the Durga (Nogg, Jupeiros) or even the Infiltrator (Rachel Sanct!) and once you hit 120 the T. Katar is just too good, I have entirely given up using an earth deleter card and haven't used a single blue pot since getting it. I am still on the fence about putting an HF card into it or getting the moonie effect card from the malaya monster (have no clue about the name, the monsters' names there all escape my feeble attempt to remember them.)

btw, i would advise you farm the instance for thanatos weapons right now. it's really easy and usually nets ~20 shards per run. given the current price of a thanatos katar it's a great way to make/save money

^ I agree, I got 63 shards last night when I went through on my Chaser and made sure to steal from almost every enemy (only killed a few without stealing.)

Led me to believe that if you're on a particularly lucky run with steal and drop, or are using drop buffing stuff, you could potentially get 100 in a single run.

Looks pretty sweet, and basically means that as long as you have 5 enemies in any mob you have endless SP for RC.
