I am new iRO and I've enjoyed the server.

I have a Rune Knight, that I was rebirth recently.

 

I would like the opinion of all on a spear build.

 

175/60 - base stats

120 str

84 agi

94 vit

90 int

82 dex

55 luk

Stats

 

Pierce, Clashing Spiral Hundred and Spears

Dragon Breath maximized also

Skills

 

It fits well?

My focus is on PvP / WoE, would like to explore the game in these areas.

How to mount a strong RK in PvP / WoE, please?

 

I heard that it would be good to let 120 dexterity, is this necessary?

 

Note: no owner of mvp or god gear

 

If you can give me what equipment to use, I would greatly appreciate it!

Yes, your chosen skills are worth for PVP/WOE:

120 DEX is really nice for fast casting DB w/secra+strings:


*even w/o tao, at least the status spams of DB, and possibility to get 100k+ HP even w/o Tao/ gods or mvps:
+9 Ares WOE Plate
stack HP/SP/range % gears

Hundred Spears too is still deadly in PVP w/Urs Set+Vellum.

With 120 dex I can not have 120 str, so how much str would be good for a strong hundred spear?

80~100 should be enough. with all good stat/atk buffs, weapons for HS, this old thread also should help you:

and

77 agi + 53 luk

or 91 agi + 28 luk

or 28 agi + 91 luk

 

luk is good for atk, but agi is good for mask and aspd delay, right?

What's more important to a HS/DB build?

 

With this build, I use the following items in PvP / WoE?

Temporal Dex Boots [1] +9 with Firelock Soldier Card

Heroic Backpack [1] +9 with Raydric Card

WoE Plate [1] +9 with Marc Card

Valkyrja's Shield [1] +7/+9 with Thara Frog Card

Glorious Spear +9

 

Or should I use the complete WoE set?

FAW +9 with EA4/3/3 and some radric is good for WoE?

Correct, HS is a ranged skill.

 

Your question about FAW being good for WoE depends on your experience, guild composition, and your attack plan. If you're responsible for just DPS with DB, Menblatt increases ranged damage by 1% for every 10 base DEX. If you get hit by neutral property attacks like Guillotine Fist, Raydric is good for damage reduction against them. Noxious reduces neutral damage by 10% and ranged damage by 10%, so that could be useful, too, if you get hit by a lot of ranged attacks.

 

You only need 50-60 total AGI  in order to spam DB under the effect of Magic Strings, but if your network ping is high, you might need more AGI. You should switch between Glorious Spear for HS and quad-carded (Archer Skeleton) weapon for DB.

currently WoE RK build is just DB and aspd build. i never saw any other build than this 2.

I'll try a HS build because I do not like Agility-based builds and do not want to depend on my dragon...

I hope I have the opportunity with this alternative build for PvP/WoE.

Clashing spiral? yeah, its ranged. not many people use it after reach enough job level for DB/IB

as you said before... start your first levels (100-105/110) with full Ur's set for +50% more damage with Hundred Spears

at 110+ you will need an AOE skill for solo or being the killer of your party not just doing HS.. that's not very funny lol.

 

ill recommend you some gears for a decent build (HS/DB)

 

+9/+12 Turkey On your Head [Carat or Bungisngis card] [Carat gives you +2 Int and 150 SP if its +9 or +>)] [ Bungisngis card gives you +6% HP if your headgear its +12, 5% if its 10, 4% if its +8 etc, etc..]

 

Glorious Suit (+20% HP)/ Ur's Plate enchanted with Vit/MaxHP (Upgraded and enchanted with some of those enchanted mentioned its recommended).

 

Black Devil's Mask [1] with Incubus card [Mid Headgear]

 

Long Octopus Ballon [Lower]

 

+0/+9> Valk Shield with hodremlin card for +25% Mid Size monster resistance

 

+9 Temporal Dex Boots [Firelock Soldier Card: 2 Str, +8% MaxHP/SP] [+5% Ranged Attack]

 

+9 Fallen Angel Wings Expert Archer 10 Enchant with Memblatt card [32% Ranged Attack for 120 dex users, 33% Ranged Attack for 130 dex users]

 

Ur's Seal with SP150/100 Enchants

 

Weapons:

 

+9/+12 Glorious Spear

Gungnir with x2 AS cards and EA 9 or higher, if you cant get one with EA 9 or higher get EA 8 lol

Mace/Maingauche with [x4 Archer Skeleton cards] +9 Tae Goo Lyeon with x2 AS cards and EA 9 or 10, Lower than EA 9 is useless.
