Hey guys!
I've been recently seeing a lot of threads about DD crit builds for MvPs, but I always thought that Katar crit was the best one around, since it's easier to get crit (double critical rate).
So I wonder now.. What's the best DPS build for MvP GXs? DD crit, DD DA or katar crit? With or without MvP cards?

Damage output = DD Crit due to multicard factors

 

Optimizing damage requires MVP Cards so you need to have some foundations to get there - specifically Drake + TG card for moderate setup, cheaper alternatives have lesser damage, insane setup requires thanatos mvp so its crazy

 

lesser crit rate cos of non katar build also require crit gear, usually in terms of 3x crit enchant sapha armor to begin with, +/- abrasives

I see.. so DD all the way.

I also wondered why you can't get Double Attack skill but then I realized that DA overrides Crits sadly.. And what about DD but no crit, just double attacks? Does it worth it?

Yeah, I saw some people using Thanatos and LK cards, that's just insane damage *_*

Lastly, why people use, for example, Faceworm Queen Leg on the main-hand and Ice pick on the off-hand instead of using double Faceworm for more slots and higher weapon damage?

You're kinda screwed with DA when MVPs agi up.

 

People use the Ice Pick for crit if they need it (sharp enchants) or the card slot. The effect on the IP is also beastly vs MVPs with high defense, it alone will provide more damage than FQL with cards. VS low defense MVPs, you could use a MG[4] carded appropriately.
