Try out all the instances with your friends and see if you feel you can survive any of it by yourself. That's where you should go.
Even if you ask which place to go here, it really depends on how well prepared your gears, supplies, stats and to certain extent, personal skills, are.
OGH is probably the best though.

To get the rewards of OGH do you have to kill the MVP?
I haven't tried it myself yet but the MvP looks kinda difficult from the videos I've seen

Yes, you need to kill both MVPs and speak to both NPCs after each floor to gain access to the treasure room.
It's not hard at all, but it does take a few runs to get the hang of it. Try going with your guildmates for the 1st few times.

What would the recommended equips be for the MvPs?
i.e. Which element armor should I wear / Arrows to use, and any other suggested gear/consumables to make the ride easier (I'm new to the whole MvP scene)

Fire armor (Pasana): 2F mobs - they use meteor storms
Evil armor (Bathory): archers and MVPs
The best arrow will be holy arrows with BXB. Almost all mobs are weak to holy, except the maggots.
If holy arrow is not available, go with fire endow for the zombies, maggots and both MVPs, and neutral for the rest of the mobs.

leo crown can help add more damage.
also silver arows are available fom npc's. the atk difference is really visible though from elven to silver/fire.

Maybe that's why he can't get rich. His client keeps crashing. In that context it makes perfect sense and in which case I would refer him to open a ticket with the support team.

I was doing OGH for the first time. It was going great until I entered a portal, got a ragexe error, rand back to the instance (didn't save at kafra), and wasn't allowed back in.

fire arrow on the first mvp since it is earth property, second mvp is undead4, fire and holy do same damage. for first mvp u might want evil druid armor, to avoid both his dark soul strike and stone curse, second mvp uses grand cross of darkness and magnum break, so dont use undead armor, u will screw urself, wear a bathory one, and fireproof.
There are some tactics for the second mvp tho, u can lock him with ankle snare and attack it from safe position
