I wonder would the Thanatos Hammer[1] (mace) be any good for a gene? It has 180 attack, lvl4 weapon, a slot, +6 int, and +120 MATK.
I imagine the +120 MATK would help AB damage (and maybe CC?) by a bit? How do you guys think it would compare to RTE and Erde? I'm only interested in 1-handed weapons that's why I left out HF.
I'm pretty noob at playing gene so please help lol.

MATK does not improve Cart Cannon. The 6 INT on the weapon does, though.
You'd want to test the items in-game for specific numbers with acid bomb.

Thanatos looks generally inferior.

Ran the number awhile back, it's nice to use as a cheaper comparison to Erde as a 1-h weapon, you would only have to worry about 1 card and no enchants. This would be an OK 1-h bombing wep but definitely lacking in CC.

How about for Aoe Bombing? (since it becomes full matk)

what!!!! Do you mean AB skill or CC skill?It doesnt becomes full matk, it just is not affected by ranged% anymore.

I see. So the +120 matk only adds damage through the Acid bomb formula. Sucks about the ranged% loss, but I use aoe bombing for ET a lot (clears the floors like paper).
Going to test in-game if I can maximize Fire expansion+Demonic fire damage somehow.

Hmm, but for clean floors Genetics use CC, well maybe Bio 3 floor cant clean fast with CC, is the only option to clean with DF+FE =/.
Anyway, Thanatos Hammer must be upgrade to +9 or higher for a good use?

For FE it is awesome! You should make or buy one. I can 1Shot G.Scarabas with FE with a +11 Insect. Thana Hammer.
