Hi guys,

 

i want to create a char that i can loot and get some items. My friend told me that a SC ganker its good, but i looked in the forum and almost anyone do that build, and i wanna know why. Is it better to make a whitesmith/mechanic for this purpose? I'm worried that with the SC i cant loot on high level maps. So i just wanna know your opinions. Sorry for the bad english ;-;

Ganking is a useful skill, however, not many people make a shadow chaser built around Ganking. Typically people either go for the shadow spell autocast build or the arrow storm build.

Leveling a SC built around nothing but Ganking would take an incredible amount of time because you'll be fighting one mob at a time waiting for steal to active.

In my opinion, it's better to play with a class that has some kind of aoe damage. Then using greed to quickly pick up all loots.

If you wanna try it out though, it's easy to make (gank rogue). High dex is needed for successful steals, high agi for aspd and flee, moderate str for attack damage and moderate vit for survivability.

If your dex is too low your steals will fail.

So, i should pick one char to kill the mobs (with aoe damage) and a WS to use greed? Or can the WS do both? 

I really dont know what path should i go for this purpose. I really like WS, but i dont know how the cart revolution build will work after i become a mechanic. 

Im between the SC and the mechanic and i just dont know which one is better for this ;-;

Blacksmith gets the greed skill as a platinum skill. Or you can buy a heroic backpack to greed on different class characters. From a farming standpoint either one would work out ok.

Id go with whichever class you enjoy the most because leveling a character requires lots of attention.
