Hi guys,

 

This might be a stupid thing but I wanted to know a small thing. Is Cramp Card any good. The one that gives 1 to 500z (1% chance) when you hit a monster. I was thinking of using it on my St. Patrick's Day Hat for my Whitesmith. And couple it with Tarou Card for Str bonus. I am no forger, but I do make a few weapons that I want. This might be a good way to make a small amount of zeny while hunting.

 

What do you say??

 

Also is it worth it to trans into Mechanic? I am almost level 97.

Could you please explain more. I was looking it up in the Wiki and it is shown as popular equipment choices.

both. use mantis cards if you really want that str accessory. for the absurd amount that cramp cards are averaging on ragial right now you could get two mantis silversmith bracers, reaulting in +8 str and +2 to every other stat.

also, wiki is pretty outdated for gear choices. where did you see this as a popular set?

Better make a rogue. It has steal doubling the chance of dropping of loots and you've got that thing that get zeny from monsters.

For strength bonus, you're better off with dark pinguicula. For money, well, none of the money/loot cards for hats are very good at all. The combo is not something I'd use, I'd put in Giearth on that hat to nullify the debuff.

I don't see Cramp Card mentioned anywhere. The amount of zeny you can gain from Cramp Card is low. As a Mastersmith, you should have Greed. Just pick up loots in TI, Orc Dungeon, etc. then sell them if you want zeny. Much faster and more reliable.

if you're on renewal you should refer to the third class page for more up to date gearing suggestions; trans and earlier is likely to not have been touched in a while.

well if you decided to keep it as a Mastersmith what would you do with it? I keep one job 70 mastersmith as my weapon upgrading/vend slave but I certainly wouldn't use it for any farming. that's what third classes are for.

Looks like I made a stupid mistake. But thank god that I asked for advice before actually applying it.

Nah man the description is screwed up. It has nothing to do with ales being in your inventory at all. It triggers like about 1% of the time for recovery and like .1% ~.5% for ale drop. It's pretty useful for just everyday farming when not worried about survivability.

Great. You could or you couldn't depends on what you sought but time will come that a transcendent class will find it's way to rank up and change to it's 3rd class.

 

I would say you should.

Some players keep a Mastersmith to upgrade weapons at job level 70. If this is your goal, keep the character as a Mastersmith then use other characters. If you like the Mechanic job and want access to higher level content, you should change to Mechanic.

i picked up a cramp card once thinking the effects would work when you're afk leveling your homuc for some easy zeny.  Sadly it don't work and i just wasted my zeny.

You could buy a VIP and job change to mechanic, do TI, set all exp to job, max axe tornado. With this, you could easily solo in low TI and make a good fortune from loots or cards.
