With the new Jane Jumpway quest, I have decided that I want to make a GX for ET Runs/MVP/Instances.

 

Never have I made a GX before, so I may sound like a complete idiotic numbskull when it comes to GX. But I have read through the forums abit before making this post.

 

However I can't really decide what build I want!

 

Like first you have Katar Build, then you have DD build,then you have DD Crit Build then Katar Crit Build, 

Then you have a hybrid. Like omg... lol

 

What is really the best build for MVP? I am assuming people will say DD Crit Build. I want to be able to aoe as well so Katar/Katar Crit Build for Rolling Cutter?

 

But from reading some posts on this forum, you can only pick one or the other... correct?

 

If you go DD Crit Build you can't get double attack > advanced katar mastery, so then you will end up doing less damage with Katar. 

 

Also temp boots is another thing.

You have Agi, Luk and Str?

 

then you have AD and BP, SOL and LD. 

 

What do people generally aim for end game? Because I honestly have no idea

DD Crit build can still use Rolling Cutter but you do 20% less damage because

you can't take Advanced Katar Mastery.

Yeah well I don't know sir. I don't want to make something then half way through mess up and regret it and waste zeny on neuralizers and reset stones to reset everything.

In that case, go with Katar build, but change your job to Assassin Cross at Thief job lv 42.

Then go with 120 STR using Temp Str boots.

Also Im thinking of investing into RWC Rings.

Is it possible for for GX to hit more than 500+ atk?

 

Just to clarfiy is 500 is combination of Str Atk and Weapon atk right?

 

if thats true I will go for Atk +3% enchants

I don't think 120 STR is good build for MVPing.

Any Crit build should have 120 Luk with Temp Luk Boots.

 

120 STR with Temp STR Boots might be good for leveling though.

Yeah, but it's a good starter build for leveling and doing ET/instances. So it's a best 2 out of 3..

 

You can still RC non-agi MVPs anyway.

 

In any case, they are planning to put reset NPC in the near future, so he can stat reset once he gets to know more about GX.
