I'm a new user and cannot get past RTP patch file 103 (00000103.RTP).

The error states "Post Patch File Corrupted, Please restart launcher or re-install RO2".

 

- Re-launching produces the same error

- Re-installing produces the same error

- Re-downloading the patch produces the same error

- Skipping the patch (by editing the ini file) produces the same error for the next patch file (00000104.RTP)

 

Why you haven't included these patches in the install file is beyond me, and how you expect any new players to play this game with these issues is crazy..

 

Windows 8.1

Read the compatibility guide but it doesn't say which exe to apply it to. Attempted to apply to multiple exe's but the option isn't available.

your install is too old. They deleted some old patch files I think.

Completely re-download the installer and reinstall. It should now install up to patch 137.

 

However... patching will work fine for 138~144 and then you'll get stuck on patch 145 like me with a "Data Read Failed" Error

Same problem as you ^^^^ Make sure the file in patches is 1903kb in size i believe and then use the version.dat fix

 

Open version.dat with notepad and change numbers to 145.

 

Seems to have worked for me so far I'm patching just fine at around 45% so far. Hope it helps

Where would I get a newer install? I just downloaded it recently so I wouldn't think it should be an old version?

I used the ragnarokonline2_us_downloader.exe which you would assume downloads the latest version from their servers.

I noticed there is also a RagnarokOnline2-Installer-0.0.0.1-20130429.exe, but that is dated 2013/04/29 which is crazy old as well

The second installer file (RagnarokOnline2-Installer-0.0.0.1-20130429.exe) is the current one available on PlayRagnarok2.com. Please use that to install from. We plan have a new installer up on the website this week, but for the time being use the one I've just listed.

Hi....do what ammaf do if you got some problem like Data error or Corrupted patch

 

1.Open file Location of Ragnarok Online II Shortcut.

2.Right click Version.dat then press "open with" then press "notepad" or open it then, press "select a program........" then notepad.

3.Change the no. 144 to 145

 

like this:

UserGameVersion=00000144;             --         UserGameVersion=00000145;

UserPatchVersion=00000144;              --         UserPatchVersion=00000145; 

 

4.Open your Ragnarok online II and you're good to go

 

NOTE:

You should exit your running Ragnarok Online II before you do this....Make sure the Patch 145 is 1903kb, you can see it in Patches folder.Do not change 144 to 146 or else you skip the patch 146 and don't delete any patch

hi up for this topic I get the same problems as well. I tried to re install and re download it from the site. but same error occurs.
