I assume 1 int

Temp Vit

HP = 107072

SP = 1217

ATK = 352+(298+48)*1.02*2.55 = 1251

TC = 14133%ATK + 9400 = 186203

Temp Str

HP = 95892

SP = 1217

ATK = 352+(298+126)*1.02*2.55 = 1454

TC = 12664%ATK + 9400 = 193534

Str boots win theoretically.

yeah, the huge %damage modifier (mainly from KvM mace) essentially turns the +78 ATK from the STR boots into about 200 ATK - more than enough to surpass the damage contribution of the additional HP from the VIT boots;

got slightly different values, probably due to accounting other things like rising dragon, +120 ATK from flash combo 5, base levels (150 vs 175 base HP values), etc; but yeah the STR boots win by calculation;

any other place outside of bios (using some other weapon), the VIT boots would have a chance on winning (though this would strictly depend on actual setup, including buffs, HP increase pots, other STR/VIT foods, aloevera, resentment, etc)

Then...does that mean that STR would only be best in case of Demihumans (due to the KVM Mace)?

So if someone is going for more of a PVE and instances and some MVP's would VIT be better overall?

I'm in the process of getting my VIT to 120 (and getting VIT Snakeskin and Temp Boots) but now this has given me some doubts.  According to the calculator one could have both base STR and VIT 120 could that be ideal? In that case which we should increase first?

Or should we just get one to 120?

PS: Sorry for piggybacking on Ashuckel's thread

the higher HP you have, the better the STR boots (so tao armor factors a lot in this issue);

ie. in various setups (stats/gear/etc), there is always a certain point in which STR boots becomes better; KvM+CEB vs demi-humans lowers this point;

24% (CEB) + 139% (KvM mace) becomes x2.63, so 78 equipATK from STR boots becomes 205

in a PvM situation you would replace CEB with +12 turkey , and KvM mace with like a 2x racial carga mace (40%) so the 78 equipATK just becomes 109

a reasonable total (status+weapon+equip+mastery) ATK is around 1,000; so with STR boots this becomes 1,109

if you could calculate your mHP (take into account VIT/base level/gear/buffs/RD/food/etc) for STR vs VIT boots, then you could see which is better

note the +8%mHP from the VIT boots must be integrated into all %HP modifiers (which also modify flat +HP modifiers) within the mHP calculation (can't just +8% whatever mHP you have at any moment);

for TC damage calculation, just ignore bonus damage and effects of mSP (mSP contribution usually ranges from 500~2,000 damage);

use ATK * mHP * (3/4000) * (base-level/100);

arbitrary mHP example at lvl 150;

damage = ATK * mHP * (3/4000) * 1.5

STR boots:  1,109 ATK; 60,000 HP → 74,857 damage

VIT boots:  1,000 ATK; 68,000 HP → 76,500 damage

say, you have higher mHP (note the contribution to total mHP of the +8% from the VIT boots increases at higher HP tiers);

STR boots:  1,109 ATK; 90,000 HP → 112,286 damage

VIT boots:  1,000 ATK; 100,000 HP → 112,500 damage

and even higher (like with tao armor)

STR boots:  1,109 ATK; 130,000 HP → 162,191 damage

VIT boots:  1,000 ATK; 143,000 HP → 160,875 damage

so you could see in this arbitrary setup, once you exceed 100k mHP, the STR boots starts to yield more damage;

---------------------------------------------------------

as for stat allocations, if you want to focus on maximizing damage output, you could simply put 120 for both and switch between boots as needed;

otherwise, would generally suggest to place more importance on VIT (and get VIT boots) if you don't have insane mHP gear (and want to do a lot of other PvM/PvE stuff besides bios);
