I did Osiris alone(ML 15) 3 times now and it hasn't dropped any designs, is it bugged, or is the drop rate really low?

I would say it's quite an uncommon drop, but not as low as end-game gear (sigh). Back when it was the top gear set, I think we would get about 3 recipes per hour soloing. However, Osiris recipes/crafting service is rather inexpensive now, so it might be a better option purchasing it than farming it. Of course I won't tell you what to do, it's your choice. Keep in mind though, 12 classes, 6-7 recipes each, amounts to a lot of farming and luck (though I think Osiris mostly weapon recipes, a few of the other recipes may drop from other bosses).

Look in this way you may also get osiris cards, osiris costume, untradeable large bags, emblem needed for crafting, so in the end is not time completely wasted. I just want suggest you to use thief potions, vip and the prontera statue buff to enhance your shances to get something.

I thought some Osiris recipes dropped in Dayr Desert temple too? I'm not sure as  don't farm it but I read that somewhere once

My guildies and I leveled up in the Temples before Osiris was popular enough to be filled up and never encountered any recipes. Killed the Golems, Noels, Elementals, Warriors, and didn't get anything. And yeah, I waited til after the recipes were confirmed released before trying, so it seems to me that is just a rumor.

Unfortunately they're only from Tomb of Osiris bosses. The Dayr Desert Temples have materials to craft the gear (Tri-element essence, source of pure earth/firmament/life) but that's about all of interest there other than really creepy scream sound effects. You can also find Joser (Djoser) designs and Desert Scorpion gear along with the typical ML drops.

 

In case anyone needs to know, infodump:

• Earth of Dayr Elemental in Dayr 3rd Temple drops Source of Pure Earth
• Float Priest of Life in Dayr 2nd Temple drops Source of Pure Life
• Firmament of Dayr Elemental in Dayr 2nd Temple drops Source of Pure Firmament
• Freyjanity Fighter in Dayr 2nd Temple drops Tri-Element Essence
  • ​Also dropped by Edward/Alfons golems, but not as easy to farm them for it
  • Freyjanity Fighters are also in 3rd Temple but there's a low number
  • In 2nd Temple, they're located in the top-left of the map.
  • I believe Inspecter of Firmament and Guard of Firmament also drops them, but again it's not really worth farming them.

I haven't bothered checking 1st Temple because it's really far away and everything is in 2nd and 3rd Temples.

 

The Temples have some rather unique characteristics. They aren't Instance dungeons, so you'll see other players there sometimes, and you can also change channel like a normal map; however you can't use a mount (similar to WoE maps), though PvP is not enabled.

 

Once upon a time I was thinking of making some images with the info, but never got around to it.
