AGIs if I needed em to reach 193 aspd, LUK in all other scenarios (STR with FS/whatever is super good for leveling even without 120 base STR). Highly dependent on other stats and gear tho.

yes i'm thinking the same way.. reach max aspd and get max crit dmg.. but i will wait for other opinions, to make sure which boot should i take...

Same boat here. Currently got 1 luk. I want tl be able to level up on my own, so I need HIT for that so i got 80 dex, 1 luk. I want to be able to mvp agi up mvps though so high crit is what I should be aiming for.

Not sure which way to go. I will probably have to try different variantions and hopefully get a good blend so I can level up (enough hit) and mvp with crits.

^ the main thing that you want first is 193 aspd. after you manage to get that, you can try to increase your damage either by directly increasing your base damage or percentage damage.

if you already achieved 193 aspd without t.agi, then dont bother with it. Go for either t.str or t.luk instead for more damage.

and btw, 80 dex is a bit too high. 50~60+ should be enough for leveling. If you still feel that you miss a lot, try to get some hit through gears.

+12 Isabella Red Ear, Garment Costume(AAW, Rudra Grace ) with ASPD enchant, ASPD FAW / +9 HBP 1@2 bako, potions, u can get 193 ASPD easily.

^i think, i will still use +7 Little Feather Hat (Angra Mantis Card) for Crit DMG. Even without Isabella Red Ear, it's still possible right to reach 193 ASPD? Bako is a must for Acc ?

 

oh and also, Costume: Quve Mask effect is still active or not? Because the description said:

 

"Item effect will remain until December 3, 2014"

At that level, your AGI/STR are incredible to high. You won't be able to solo anything for levels/MvP. In a party situation, you'd become more of a burden by getting 1 shotted by everything. Investing in 110+ stats should be closer to endgame, not while your still leveling.

 

With the gears you mentioned and you wanting the 120 LUK/AGI build, you would still need the 2x bako tatts. Even then you'd still be around 191 ASPD with awakes, celermine, VIP buff and lvl 10 Agi.

 

You have to use more aspd gears with the bako tatts i.e. +1 ASPD Costume, +1/2 ASPD Weapon, ASPD FAW, +11/13 Red Isabella.

 

Costume: Quve Mask still has its effect but will most likely lose it. Since it's suppose to have been a temp effect but GM's just forgot to take it out.

^darn it.. that means 2 bakos are a must for me right now.. even with those i only reach 191 @_@ argh... No wayyyyyy Quve Mask effect will worn out!? Whereas That's one expensive costume...

make sure you have decent amount of vit before entering high ti.. 1 vit wont take you anywhere...

^ he probably can use it right now.. mesmerist only  bugged on characters that already reset last time she was here, i think.. So since he is new, he probably can reset.
btw.. please dont tell me you use the free reset to get that build ><

Heard that those unaffected have unlimited reset in other thread lol. And no, even on my char that don't use mesme got bugged when I tried, so waiting for the fix.

But in the end when i'm in a party, i can't do anything, all my friends in the range class (ranger and sorcerers) do the killings, so i can just sit back and relax hahaha.. thank's to them my stats without VIT don't bother me so much..

erh.. after a long time of thinking.. i think it's impossible to get max crit dmg while maintaining your ASPD @ 193. Right? So you must choose between them..?

depend.. 30k crit high enough for you? if you are interested, go to the DD crit guide. Everything in this thread is pretty much basic knowledge for a gx.. if you want to see more serious stuff, go visit other thread.

I went with [AgiTemp Boots] + [ASPD Chakram] + [1 Bako] on my GC (lvl150).

Didnt even went with 120AGI, just 110 is enough for me to get 193 APSD with Celermine+Agi+VIP Buffs.

 

And for the dmg, i went with a Petal FAW (Fatal Enchanted) and White Eddga Hat.

My LUK is at 100 and STR is at 90 for the use of HBP when its simple PVM.

If u ditch the Fatal FAW and use a Petal HBP u`ll lose some dmg but can get 193 ASPD without Bako actually.

 

It works well for the instances and MVPs i frequently camp (OGH, Hazy, Geffen, Cursed Palace), but its worlds apart the insane dmg u can check on Yugacky`s vids (DD Crit).

to sum this, DD build is better for damage output ? i saw a video on youtube just now, a lv 150 GX blew AMON-RA in a few secs.. Damn.. And He took FULL THROTTLE.. Is it worth it (Full Throttle skill) ?

DD crit is not a build you want to use for leveling; it's something you would want to aim for at the end game stage. additionally you need to change to SinX at like job 42 as a high thief to skip taking double attack so there's some initial preparation too.

Full throttle can be helpful in an MVP fight but bear in mind that it has a 50 minute CD (and I don't believe CDs tick unless you're actually logged in) so it's 50 minutes of real game time that you will not be able to use that ability again. it's more a "break glass in case of emergency" type of skill.
