Welcome new Dragon Saga Player!

Especially for you we have created this new

Newbie Zone in our forum.

If you have questions about fundamental parts

of the game then the right place is here.

Since this section is brand-new it is still waiting to be filled.

Also the subforum "Newbie Guides" is still empty.

So if anyone of our veteran players has fun

supporting our new players and

writing a guide about any aspect of the game

fundamentals for our new players, here you go!

Any help is appreciated!

Enjoy!

If I'm not lazy I might write a guide on every class (Belongs in class discussion but its practically dead) and how to level. The sad part is that the leveling guides are almost all the same..... List out all the quest chains for each F7 defense mode [ Valid Raeth(40-55), Forgotten village(55-65), Haven of peace,(60-75) Dragons Valley(70-85)] Or leech and party with someone else who did their missions(Thank the lord) and spam F7 until you reach the maximum level cap of 85. Boop done. Thats the general outline of most guides for "how to level."But I'm willing to write a guide on leveling , how stats work, what you should have equipped to level up. as long as 1 person finds it decent I'll write more but if it's in vain I'll let the pro's write 'em :D

Nice. I - and I'm sure every new one - will really appreciate this. :)

I used to want to play this game when it first released as Dragonica whenever that was. Feels like many years ago, but at the time my computer couldn't run a 3D game. I'm really happy to this this game is still being hosted in the US and even though I haven't finished downloading yet, there seems to be enough activity on the forums giving me hope that enough people still play and enjoy the game.

I'm going to read the leveling guide in the newbie section while my client downloads, but which class would you guys recommend for someone interested in both PvE and PvP? Or which do you personally find the most fun to play?

EDIT::: I created this Warp Portal account years ago back when I was either playing Rose, RO, or Lunia online. No idea why my name is a bunch of number and I don't seem to be able to edit my username from my profile. :|

Hello and welcome to our Community.

You can submit a ticket to our support team and ask for a name change for your forum account. In the case of players whose name is only that bunch of numbers they will do it without problems.

Hope to see you in-game.

I'd recommend thief or warrior classes. With the current balance the thieves are more powerful in endgame pve, but both warriors are fun to play and do just fine in normal activities. Thieves has the worst time leveling to 20 while warriors are strong in the early game with much better skills and more bulk.

Gladiators are really good at mobbing which is what most of the pre lv 40 game is about, they got several skills for the tower defense mode at lv 40+ and it's always been a popular class for skill based pvp. They grow fast and you will be able to pvp at a low level. Their gameplay get spiced up a lot after job advancing at lv 40; the other classes pretty much stay the same... Gladiators look really cool with their huge swords too!

A couple of starter tips: Play on channel 1 for a nice buff in hp and exp. Upgrade your potions when you can. Chain combos (default mode for your X attack) is really nice: Damage is decent, it groups mobs together and it restores some mp.

Happy hunting!

Please, every classes are fun to play, powerful and overall good in any kind of doing.

When you begin any game, the better thing to do is to play in a casual way and then looking for what fits better for us. Then you can ask for advices if you can't choose beetween 2 different classes and enjoy the game in his best way.

I ended up choosing an archer since they seem fun to play. I couldn't find any class guides from 2015, but I decided on wanting to eventually be the destroyer class. I'm level 18 so far and found this build in the acher forums: http://irowiki.org/~...005515151200050

A quest gave me 20 skill point reset scrolls that I can only use before reaching level 20. To save my skill points for the higher tier classes and cooler skills, is it a good idea to reset my base class skills right before hitting level 20, and avoid putting points into any of those base archer skills? I ask because the guide I linked above didn't spend any skill points on the Ultimate nuke skill, and left most of the destroyer skills blank. Sounds kind of unexciting getting to level cap and not having points saved to get the coolest looking abilities. Or will I still be using my base archer skills through end game?

An updated Destroyer guide would be loved, if not too much to ask for. I'd rather PvE than PvP

You get a free skill reset scroll at level 20 and 40 jobchange again. But please keep in mind to save one of those, because you do not get any skill reset scrolls for the final jobchange.  :p_smile:

I don't know much about this class, but I do know the following.

The archer "shootdown" for sure is a skill that you will need till endgame. Even though it is bugged for normal weapons, but with the tuna weapon or the halloween one you can work around this bug, because both of them have a custom animation and with that no bug occurs. You can buy both IM weapons in the in game market for gold from other players, so you aren't forced to spend real cash to get one of those IM weapons.

Welcome!  :p_smile:

A lot.  :p_smile:

So many things I can't sum them up.

But no matter what I would tell you now isn't important, cause it would only be based on my personal opinion.

Important is: you get in the game and to have a look yourself. Experience it for yourself, decide if you like what has changed or not. Just play, enjoy the game. And maybe you decide to stay. :p_smile:

1. Some sets aren't needed, you can farm them if you want to, it's just preference.

2. Later on you will see sets that you may want.

Join an active guild that can help you out and teach you what to get or look out for, this community especially on the pve side is friendly.

The level 1 Magma and Elf sets are from a now discontinued event. The character is likely an old one made at that time.

Any main city of blacksmith can do this. Select ' socketing' and drag the card into the slot then upgrade.
