what the pros and cons of DD vs Katar?

AFAIK. Katar is used for skill based attacks

DD cannot use several skills but it is fun and versatile

pros

DD 

- if crit DD high damage than katar 

- fun

 

cons

DD 

- skills related to DD are high SP consumption compare to katar skill related. 

- hand/finger effort is triple than using katar. 

- always 2nd place when it comes in fast looting misc items & killing multiple mobs.

when farming at ~sniff~

katar can loot  110+ white herb & 30 blue potion & 20 mastela for 15-18mins

when dagger its 2x time consumption or more.

DD is in general way more expensive.
and if u talk about DD crit, its way, i mean, WAY more expensive.

If you give up soul destroyer and max left/right hand mastery you can at least switch to DD and have fun with it.

In terms of leveling, I'd say katar is better because RC. Mobbing is much more efficient than one click killing post level 150.
