After i re-install my RO since i am having problem on shortcut keys. My problem now is when i already logged in, i cant see any npc or other player but my character itself. Yes i can move and do skills but on field also theres no monster..please help.

Any help will be appreciated guys thanks:)

So, you downloaded latest client version (which seems to be dated by April), all patches starting from April and after it patched up, the situation is still the same?

it was mentioned that dated october upto the last one. so i download it all then paste it on my ro folder, Hoping that it will be ok, i launch the exe file and when i logged in it was still the same. please help:(

Did you notice if it tried to do patching using those files you downloaded? Does it show any kind of errors before you click "Play" in patching window? Does it say something like "Successfully patched" or similar in meaning that everything is ok?

After i click the exe file the 5/5 shows in the patch bar like a blink in the eye then it will show "attempt to connect file server please wait" then a pop up blocker will also show up the same time saying "Failed to connect to file server" then when i press OK on the pop up and goes back on the patch bar it shows patch process completed then the  PLAY button was enabled already.

I see, so the problem is with connection to ftp server... But you can open patch server (using the link from the post I mentioned before) with no problem, right? Does ftp patch server is openable in Internet Explorer?

yes i didnt get any problem when opening the ftp file.Please help:(

Something is really weird here. As much I know, Ragnarok uses Internet Explorer setting to connect to ftp patch server. If there is completely no problem in opening ftp server manually in IE, it is supposed to be fine for Ragnarok too...

yes but having this problem makes me think what have i done..ive been re-installing ragnarok many times now:(

nope i cant.. but i can open the ftp://patch1.playragnarok.com/

Ok, now we have a better idea about the case. Do they open in any other browser (so, if the problem only in IE or any other browser you have)?

yes i can open the the files.. all of them.. in google chrome

So, you can't open those three urls in Internet Explorer but can in Chrome, right?

By the way, no need for my name and sir/mam...

 

Did you setup your computer yourself or somebody did it for you? The idea is that Chrome is likely to have some extra settings which allow it to access those urls (for example, you use proxy server or something like this) which IE lacks. Or other way around, IE has some settings which prevent it from accessing those urls.

 

Can you open some random website in IE? For example, this forum.

i am the one who set up my computer vehona..do you recommend any solution for this? right now im re-installing again the RO for the nth time:(

No need to reinstall RO over and over again, for now it seems the issue with connection to ragnarok web services, and game client is unlikely to cause it.

 

So,

Can you open some random website in IE? For example, this forum.
