you can play RO1 on a slightly souped-up potato so most current desktops/laptops should be just fine.

The crappy your laptop, the better experiences you get from playing RO.

I prefer to play RO on a desktop, so I can press hotkeys faster and easier and if keyboard breaks, it is simple to replace. I play laptop from time to time, but always feel guilty after WoE because I spam hotkeys like crazy.

That should work out just fine honestly. They issue is there will always be some lag on the server regardless of how awesome your computer is. So if you ever run into problems your probably not the only one.

Yeah, that'll work. It's win8, so full screen probably won't work, though.
