Hey guys,

I have an enquiry about SD sinx. How useful are they in PvP/WoE? Are they still as popular?

Great in PVP, trash in WoE (too many redux and delay too much for sd to be efficient)

Cos i realized it's rather financially taxing to use edp all the time during pvp/woe and just curious, what are the redux you were talking about during woe? Please enlighten. Thanks a bunch! @Xellie

i think she means this

Battle Mechanic Changes
  • Flee is reduced by 20%.
  • Long range normal attacks are reduced by 25%.
  • All skill-based damage except Gloria Domini and Gravitational Field is reduced by 40%.
  • Traps last 4 times as long.
  • All knock back effects are disabled. Some skills like Cicada Skin Shed may lose some functionality due to this.
  • Equipment preventing skills to be canceled during casting (phen card and similar items) do not function.

you can read it up here ~> http://irowiki.org/classic/WOE

IMO sonic blow is the most common choice since you could easily pump it up via SL

Also people stacking ranged redux and demi redux, some classes get like 60~70% ranged reduction which destroys SD.

Consider that SD is both ranged and a skill, so it gets hurt much more by woe mechanics.

Thank you so much for the information. Appreciate it very much.

One question, how do i train an SB build sinx? Doubt it will be easy.

Cos i'm really in a huge dilemma on whether to go SB or SD build. I was thinking if i'm going pure SB, with low flee rate, lvling would be tough. As for SD, i'm sure it will be easier for lvling.

Will need your opinion on this.

well my SB sinx build is

91 str

87 vit

50 agi

31 dex

and that's enough flee for most of the game

if you go SD its kind of a bit tougher, you're so squishy!

haha well that's just how a person is at a crossroad. it actually boils down to the main purpose, which is more useful in woe lol. so i guess SB would be much useful.

And one more thing, with 31 dex, i suppose for the high flee lads, i would need something for a decent hit rate? Cant be investing all the slots on mummy cards.

Sorry i'm a bit long winded, i really need an advice on this.

In WoE their flee is nerfed pretty hard, and you can get the +33 HIT pastries from battlegrounds. I personally use a double bloody double howard spec jur for pvp, but that will take a while to save up.

In WoE tho, I have no hit problems

with that build, how do i go lvling? with just normal att or SB? do i need to invest int for sp?

my main concern now is that, lvling will be tough, no?

and with a high vit, how high of a vit that an ice pick would make an obvious impact in the damage on me?

icepicks dont really get used in woe

you can SB and GT things with that build easy

I didnt get any int and it worked fine for me, you can normal attack or grimtooth or sb, it doesn't matter

oh ya one last ques, since the battle mechanics state that there's a reduction of long ranged normal attacks of 25%, is SD considered as normal attacks?
