~ Iro Music Video Contest ~

aka IroMVC

 

I was looking at all the wonderful things people did in the last contest and thought.

Let's try something along those lines.

Thus you now have a IroMVC. 

 

You may use:

Screenshots

Videos /playback

Drawings

Machinima

or any mix of those medias.

 

- Prizes - 

 

Grand Prizes for 3 people:

WPE codes (amount to be set after the contest)

 

 

- Rules -

Dastardly rules... yes, I know...

 

ALL WORKS MUST BE IRO RELATED

(since this is a given it needs no number)

 

1. Ovely mean/ rude and/or explicit videos

WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.

(If you are unsure about anything, please pm Myzery or myself.)

2. No WoE videos

2a. No guild/alliance drama

(yes, fight scenes are allowed.)

3. Videos must follow the words / theme/ or mood of music choosen

4. ALL screenshots/ videos/ drawings / machinima MUST BE YOUR OWN WORK.

(ex. you can not borrow a guildies pvp video and call it your own, 

but you can edit stock pictures into your video.)

5. Videos must be at least 1 1/2 minutes long (90 seconds)

NOT including time on intro/ ending credits.

6. If this is a joint effort, ONLY ONE will be awarded the prize

7. Contest is from 4/21/2015 to 5/21/2015 @ 6:00 PM PST

you could do one with a lot of fight scenes, as long as it follows along with the words, mood, and/ or theme of the song.

i don't PVP either, and the song is more about the underdog winning the big guy so it doesn't really fit wth PVM

that's ok, i might think of something else or just sit this one out

Well, in the court of law it still is not legal but if by moral conduct that would be acceptable.

 

Thanks for the clarification though. We just need to play it safe.

   Actually I made this video for my GF in hope she remember about what we already did together when our relationship goes downwhill, right now our relationship between me and her is back to normal and become more serious. and suffering

The video follows the letter of the rules. That being said, it would probably be a stronger video if you have just in game footage.

Title: Let's Ragnarok
Story: Straight forward recording + some dialogue. Walking around looking for mvp which isn't there + TI's. Generally it's what i do every weekend on iRO

Shobz, there have been contests with far less than WPE codes, and people didn't need that for motivation to participate. I can only offer what I am allowed to offer. The final desicion will rest with GM team. While I understand that people would like a clear cut number, in this case, I wasn't given one to give to everyone. I was allowed to offer 3 people the chance to win WPE codes, because making a video can be difficult.
