So I have a DR +9FAW I want to enchant it to allow me to be as tanky as possible. Which one should I go, Vit or Max HP enchant. Also I am confused by iro wiki's explanation on Vit. It says Vit+1 provides additional 1% max hp.

 

Let's say I currently have 10000 HP, than with Vit+5 My HP becomes 10000*(1.01^5) or 10000*(1.05)? I also notice in both cases it is better than MaxHP + 3%. So what is the meaning of this MaxHP enchant? It is overwhelmed by Vit enchant.

What class?

 

DR HBP is tankier with it's +5% more neutral resist, FAW is typically more specialized for damage increase, as you could just get a DR Giant Faceworm Skin with Vit+14~18 on that too.

You can't compare max HP and VIT like that because you'll already have a ton of base VIT in the first place. Also it'll depend how they stack with your other gears and buffs.

Try Giant Faceworm Skin VIT if you want to, way better than FAW

That's true but it doesn't work that way.
I already tested this out and I'm pretty sure about it.

Every point of VIT adds 1% of your Max HP at your current level at 0, not 1 VIT, to your current HP.
So it doesn't matter how much VIT or HP Increasing buff or gear you have on.

Then again, VIT does so much more than just increase your HP so...*my explanation didn't really help*
But if you're considering the VIT Enchant solely for that purpose well, there you go. :-)

HP_from_class+level+vit = (base HP - function of class and level) * (1+vit/100) 

 

So if you already have 100 vit, adding 1 more vit increases your hp by 0.5%, not 1%. 

 

The hp from class/level/vit is then added to +HP effects, and this is then multiplied by +% effects.

Yeah, Faceworm skins are better for defensive builds. FAW's normally increase damage one way or another. HBP is way nicer in terms of resist, also adding some other power-ups in the process.

Thank you all for the answer. The problem is that DR is already on my FAW and I don't want to spend money for another DR. I am RG and my purpose is to tank Randgris' and her minion's physical attack after she power up. Would you guys say a raydric high vit enchant Faceworm would be better?

I can tank her OK on genetic, DR is an absolute must though. Immune anything and you will die. Are you tanking valk as you're killing her with VP and stuff? If so, your best bet is to use the FAW as an offensive garment - the upside to FAW vs randgris is that you get 18 mdef which helps lower her LoV dmg. I wouldn't worry too much about your DR being in an FAW, but defensive buffs on FAW are just meh...if you reallllly vant them, go for VIT for sure. Eventually, you will want that DR HBP as well though, once you get around 60-70% reduction, 5% goes a long way, esp vs her, shes the worst physical neutral in game besides bio3 MVPs.

Say your naked hp is 5,000
You're wearing variant shoes (+20% hp)
And have 100 vit.
This puts your hp at 12,000.
5,000 * 200% (from vit) * 120% (from gear).

You then ask "which is better? +10% hp, or +10 vit?"

Vit applies to your naked hp only, and you can't forget the vit you already have.
+10% hp: 5000*200%*130% = 13,000
+10 vit: 5000*210%*120% = 12,600

So the +% hp is better than the +vit.

However, vit also reduces incoming magical and physical damage by a small amountand increases potion efficiency.

This time i challenge myself solo Beelzebub.
The gears i used:
Head: +9 Rideword Hat (Archangeling Card) - for faster SP recovery from using hawkeye enchant
Mid: Hexagon Spectacles (Archangeling Card)
Low: Chewing Gum
Body: Ebone Armor (Dokebi card) - to resist wind attack from hell flies
Shield: Valk Shield (alice card) - to tank since beez and hell flies are boss monsters
Garment: +9 Heroic Backpack (Deviling card) - to tank
Shoes: Temp Str Boots (Muscle Fool, FS7) - to tank
Acc1: Glorious Ring - to resist wind attack
Acc2: Silversmith Bracelet (Yoyo card) - for perfect dodge

costumes: Baphomet Head Costume
Shadow Gears: +4 Bronze Shadow Set

Stats:
Str: 50 + 14 (for weight limit and boost to warg strike damage)
agi: 41 + 24 (for little aspd when switching to autowarg)
Vit: 120 + 17 (max HP)
int: 90 + 26 (trap damage, SP pool and regen)
dex: 90 + 32 (trap damage)
luk: 77 + 13 (to trigger archangeling card, and for perfect dodge)

Pointers:
- i have my Biochemist slave outside to give me Full Chemical Protection, else beez will break your shield
- i used a lot of strawberries here since hell flies casts mental breaker a lot
- skip to 1.54 when the beex transformed
- at the end of the video, Beez is already 5% HP. And he casted stone skin level 4 which makes my trap damage reduced from 4000 to 800. He also cast 9999 HP heals every 2 seconds. So, since i only able to cast 2 traps per second, my trap damage in 2 seconds is just 3200, it cant outdamage his 9999 HP heals per 2 seconds. So i give up here. I think this is the MVP i cant defeat alone.

What about a dr gray set for valk with dokebi for lov resist. And the extra 15% that the set gives along with the Alice shield?
