This is the situation.

 

I tried leveling my account B in Janeway so I decided to borrow my equipment from my account A. The trade was successful. After some time I've reached 99 with my character in account B so I did a trade again to return my equipment to account A but....

 

It was so laggy. So horrible that I couldn't move my mouse pointer to the item and drag it to the trade box.

 

So I thought that maybe if I switched client it will go smoothly. I logged out on my account A and logged my account B on that client and vice-versa but still no hope.

 

Then I tested again, opening an account C and doing a trade with account B. It went smooth with minimal lag.

Well, I already solved this though. Ijust traded account C with my account A using a different character on A (not the one I used to trade with .

 

Is there a rule in the system that does this or it was just purely coincidence?

the only times i encounter lag is if I'm doing anything with my 3rd or 4th client.

I believe this is a bug, or some weird issue.  I usually run 3-4 clients, and they run smoothly USUALLY but occassionally one will lag all to hell while the others run smoothly...

I experience lag whenever my 2nd or so client is AFK for a long time (vending slave) then I move it to a different map.

Well, the issue here is not the lag.

I think it depends on the PC/laptop specs though. I recall having the same problem with my bad pc in where if i dont tab to the other clients for a long time, they lag and suddenly fast forwards everything that has been happening since i last tabbed to it. Same thing when il alt f4ing clients, i close 1 then the rest lag so bad its unplayable.


All of them dissapeared when i bought a new laptop even.

..and again the main idea here is not the lag.
