So, I have played this game for quite some time now that I notice change on the thief hide skill to prevent abuse on material gathering (e.g.:Pillarnium). Well, I can agree with that since it's damn annoying to see the Pillarniums that was there a while ago being nicked after killing hoards of ads to get them. But, here comes my argument: While is acceptable to prevent abuse while gathering materials, that doesn't mean that it has to be the same way while LOOTING FROM DEAD ADS THAT YOU KILL LEGITIMATELY. Seriously, there isn't a reason why we must endanger ourselves to loot a dead body with aggressive ads around. Maybe its time for a bit an adjustment of that skill....
Adjustment To Thief Hide skill

Point 1: There is more than one profession. So it's a balancing act for artisans/cooks looting dead bodies as well. It shouldn't be easier for thieves than for other classes.
Point 2: If you legimately killed the monster, there should be no real need for a rehide. Looting doesn't take that long to bother.
However, if we would reintroduce the old feature where stealth characters can loot or gather, players will abuse it for daily quests as well. F.e. for the DWU solvent dailies. Here, underleveled/undergeared Assassins, Rogues and Rangers would just loot the Skeleton Mages without getting visible, which is a clear advantage over any other class that risks to be attacked by respawning monsters, etc.
