So far my experience has been very negative, especially when they are trying to buy something off you and you won't sell it to them for half what it's worth.

nope....so far all those ive seen were either begging for stuff (hell a few even asked me to give them the gear i was wearing...) calling me rude when i asked thew to freaking speak english when they ask me stuff ( no i wont learn tagalog for you...did i go to your server and harass you with my french...) or other nonsense like that.

 

Oh yeah i almost forgot about the moron that told me he'd show me how you really play a sc when he got his char back and how mine sucked even though i was just sitting in town and never met him before XD

 

So yeah pretty much a negative experience so far

 

 

Edit: and no im not racist, i have nothing against them except those that act like spoiled brats ( hell i helped a few with buying pots and whatnot but i dont have to give you 10m just because you ask and you're new to the server)

Yes. I started in Thor and within a day someone was helping me level and farm items. (hi patty!)
And they are all convinced I am a man so I doubt it's a gender thing either haha

I'm not generalizing though. There are people who comment that they should change their ways, but they either get ignored or frowned upon. Sad, indeed.

I don't hate them on purpose lol, they make me hate them. For example, just now after politely declining an offer of 300m for my KK card, I was called "Trash" in some form of broken english and told I was greedy and selfish (I think that's what he was trying to say anyway).

 

Then some novice asked me for my FAW for free and blocked me from responding when I tried to explain that I can't just give away my 1b+ +9 deviant faw.

It's not like iRO didn't have these kinds of people before pRO shut down - it's not a whole server but select people. Don't see the point grouping them altogether like that, cuz ya there is nice people from there.

Well, when some of them started playing Chaos before Thor opened, there have been posts in FB circulating about some people from iRO being too generous. They brag about being given some items, saying that "these foreigners are really kind guys!"

 

So when a surge of pRO players came to play iRO, some of them probably expected this kind of generosity, because LU! really did spoil everyone up to the point that starting out as a 1/1 novice with a knife and cotton shirts is unacceptable.

 

Again, I'm not generalizing. There are pretty cool people from pRO, and you can see them posting here on the forums quite often.

I have met a lot of cool people from pRO so far.

Most of them will not sympathize with the majority of the pRO population though.

I know of quite a few people who have been scammed by pRO players so far.

And sadly, they get bashed for it. Cyber-bullying is rampant because a lot of pRO players use Facebook for in-game matters (like how they prefer FB groups over forums).

The problem is even within the people from pRO, there are drama punks who give them a bad name, who were causing grief in their own servers even before coming to us in iRO.

 

Personally I don't treat them any different. i.e. Nice to everyone unless they do things that cause me to lose respect, and if so it doesn't matter if they are from iRO or pRO, they get punished if they cross the lines.

 

For the nice folks who come in for the real love of the game, really, I welcome you all ^.^

Ive met few badass from pRO but the -_-tiest player Ive known is from iRO

I'm not saying iRO doesn't have it's -_-ty players too. Some people may even count me as one of them, but I am always friendly (except occasionally in PVP) in game and I'd say 95% of our player base are pretty down to earth people who stick around because they enjoy our community.

i've seen maybe a half and half for rude players from pRO.  The other half are either decent people, or people i can't understand.  But yea the rude ones do stand out a lot more.
