Try to save the file on your desktop not inside the temporary folder. then once completed run the installer as an admin.

- Download, extract, and then open HashMyFiles.
- Press F2.
- Choose the file Media2.cab.
- Press control-A and then F7, which will copy some text to your clipboard.
- Include the copied text in a reply to this post.

Is your network connection stable?
Have you tried downloading the installer using the official download manager?

Pardon the bump. I have the exact same issue. I download the files of Axylus' mirrors. At first I thought the larger file got corrupted during download so I downloaded the part files and faced the same error. I then downloaded the installer on a Vista Laptop (Don't ask) and still got the same error when I tried installing on my desktop (which runs WinXP; don't ask please >.<). I can confirm that I get the exact same MD5 hash Axylus posted as being the correct one but I am still unable to install. I can also confirm that the installer worked without a hitch on Vista. So in my case the issue was the OS (I'm assuming). So if the other users who had the exact same issue can confirm their OS then I guess we can try to see if there is a workaround for it. But seeing how some of the topics never got updated I am not sure if said users are still using an older installer or found a remedy but haven't shared it yet.

You absolutely shouldn't be using an operating system that is almost 14 years old — that is crazy.
Try the following in order:
- Follow the directions in Microsoft Support article KB822798.
- Ensure that Windows is configured to automatically update its root certificates.
- Install Windows XP update KB938759.
- Install all available Windows updates.

I know but I use it for the nostalgia. It was my first ever OS. I don't mind using the older version since the patches download without issues for me. Hopefully, those who have the same issue aren't on WinXP.

Did you try what I suggested?

No. I apologize for that.

No. I apologize for that.
Spoiler
I think the easiest solution for you would to be to install the client on your other computer that has Windows Vista installed, and then copy the installation folder to your main computer.

Sorry for the bump, since I am going crazy trying to install and have same problem.
Media2.cab:
MD5: 97a0617e258da02123af05e946499ca3
SHA1: 81964db6c5065e123173f7682322f472c81edfc7
Windows XP fully updated with KB938759.
Still no luck in installing
Any help or suggestion? I can't install another windows because don't have any other windows file to run.
Edit: I finally fixed installation , I did a full reinstall of windows XP.
But now I can not create Ragnarok Online 1 account, after registeration it says This account is suspended. But I play Ragnarok Online 2 fine. *sigh*
