So I am planning (Almost! level 95 Sniper) to make a full AS Ranger (For Farming and purely leveling) by following the iROwiki build here

But I am not entirely sure which skills to level (beside Arrow Storm/Camouflage of course) so I tried a little bit of fiddling with the skill simulator and ended up with this: http://irowiki.org/~...BrKqN4bsOaOrKwY

Can you guys rate it for me please? Which skills I didn't level that I need? I put quite a lot of points in the Warg skills just because I don't know where else I can use them. Are any of the traps worth it for a full AS build? (Also I have a lot of points wasted on the Falcon skills which I will probably never use and again not sure where to put them)

Second question is about the fact that I need to use the White Wing set of course, but I also want to use the "Greed" skill from Heroic Backpack. Is it possible to hotkey HBP and Greed and WW Manteau so that I can smash everything then Greed and then back to Manteau? I believe it's possible but maybe there is a better way of doing this that I don't know of so if you have any suggestions please tell me ^^ <3

Thanks in Advance!

I rather master warg strike or bite whichever that you don't. Leave out Warg Dash and FT,yo will not find many use of it anyway, maybe trap research 3 or put points in aimed bolt, depends on your preferance.

I though Full Throttle was a must have now? And is having Warg Strike and Bite at the same time that useful as a ranger with absolutely no AGI? Yea I think I should max Trap Research for the SP

Thank you! Love Heroic Backpack :3 <3

You mean I can switch to such headgear? Because I believe I will be using Rideword (And then Vanguard when I can afford it and when Enriched Hammer returns)

What actually happens when Mild Wind is used on a Ranger? I mean my weapon's element changes into Fire for example temporary. What does that do? Weren't the arrows the ones that affects the element of the damage?

- Elemental arrows have lower attack than Elven / Oridecon arrows.
- Mild Wind also applies to warg attacks (iirc), Converters / Arrows cannot.

Oh! Now I get it. Four nice hats indeed

Still not 100% sure about my hunter's skills though. Way too much points spent on Falcon skills that I will never use as soon as I get a warg

Well, while you're still a sniper, you can make use of mesmerist at Izlude that will reset your skill tree for free, as many times as you want.

(Not to be confused with event mesmerist in Eden Group, who can reset your stats and skills only once.)

Any Hunter trap that you recommend instead of the Falcon skills?

Might seem like a silly question but what does shockwave do against monsters? XD I never really cared about traps enough to figure out and the wiki seems to ignore the topic completely so I am guessing it's completely useless against monsters

You mean monsters actually have SP?? So if I tank something like an MvP long enough it might run out of SP?

Monsters don't have SP. You might find some other use for shockwave though as it's like a general debuff ability and not just some damage ability that will get trumped by third class skills... but yeah it might really be mostly PVP.

There are some situational uses for Falcons even as Ranger, like if the target is past a wall, the Warg can't reach it but the Falcon can. I'd say go for maxed steel crow and blitz beat.

I guess I will go with the last build I proposed and hopefully won't regret having Steel Crow at level 8 (the +6 attack difference is actually before multipliers correct? So it might be big enough at later times)

Anyho I guess that settles it for this http://irowiki.org/~...sOrKr5bsSaOqxwY

Thanks everyone for the great help! I hit 99/70 last night and now working on passing the quest which is, as said by a lot, quite annoying the first few tries and I didn't get to try last night except twice

Then after I become a ranger, I will level to 6 job ensuring I have my Arrow Storm before I go to Mesmeriser to reset everything and go the way of the 1 AGI XD

Love you guys <3

While i can see use for traps under controlling mvp mobs and such i cant see use for falcon effectively just some pokes here and there that wouldnt even make difference cause when monsters cant reach you they just teleport.

You probably don't need detect and/or focused arrow strike. Falcon improves your ctrl-click dps quite a bit so for the situations your warg is blocked and unusable the falcon is pretty nice.

Well the thing is, I will rarely use the Falcon with the current plan I have for my ranger so I think spending the points of Focused Arrow Strike which I can use without getting rid of my warg is better. And I guess detect because I don't have Keen Nose so in case the need arise I will switch to Falcon for the detect
