I've been levelling my homunculus a lot lately and have been wondering where's the basic etiquette from a lot of other players?
I operate under certain rules in the game because, despite the fact that it's a game there are real people involved. I never ks on purpose and will apologise when it's an accident. I never afk too close to another person levelling their homunculus and really try to stay in my own space as much as possible. I try to treat other players with respect.
I've had a lot of bad experiences in RO, and a lot of those specifically while levelling my homunculus. I never properly afk, I always have my laptop on my lap while my homunculus is killing stuff so I can keep an eye on it, and this allows me to see a lot of what's going on. People will camp literally on top of me, coming in after I did with their homunculus s and killing everything. I'm still a biochem and I currently have a 97 filir so no aoe. The other day I was in OD2 and someone stopped right next to me and went afk and of course their dieter went ahead and killed everything. The guy came back a while after I politely asked him to move and said he was there first, which of course, he wasn't, as I don't steal other peoples' spots.
Right now I'm in Ant Hell for some easy levelling while I do other stuff. Not even five minutes after I got there a gene decides to camp next to me. This was fine for a while as my filir is faster and was killing most of the stuff. The gene then decided to resummon their homunculus after cart boosting so it's much faster and well, you can guess what happened.
So yeah, I ask where is the etiquette? Just a basic set of rules that will make everything much nicer for everyone involved. Why does internet anonymity cause everyone to behave like idiots?
Sorry, rant over, just needed to vent some frustrations!
