Hello! Just curious what a good armor for a tao might be. Ive been sorta WoEIng but it isnt my main focus. My main focus will be mainly Tanking MVPs with it on a RG. (Occasionally for a Sura tanking and TC lvling) but primarily for fun tanking with another class other than Sura.

 

Thoughts were

 

1. +9 WoE Plate/Suit (im in a WoE guild, but WoEing in general wasnt my purpose for getting the card)

2. +9 Valk Armor w/ +3 Vit (unbreakable all around pretty good armor right?)

3. +12 Bakonawa Scale Armor(Bayani) (My personal favorite, but was unsure. 6% reduced dmg seems super and the extra to all stats is awesome. Just not ever seen one in this)

Ok so after reading that I'm gonna have to say that doesn't give me any direction either way. As it mainly just talks about the valk gears all thread after mourn suggests the antimagic armor.

Just RG? Do u want to use it on other class? RK,AB? Gef Robe is the best S>+9 Gef robe

if you put it in a WoE plate/suit, you won't be able to you it on your shura at all

Does the gef Magic robe (the one with 7% hp at +9) available for all 3rd classes?

I'll use it on sura and RK as well. Just my main purpose is tanking on an RG. I'll use it on genetic too. Just not my main focus is all.

Well ill give my thoughs about this: 

1st - Tao card (if it is working properly) is a Moroha no Tsurugi card so defense doenst matter at all because youll always lose half of it. That being said lets get to the equipments:

 

-Woe plate/suits pros: Woe/Pvp effects, cons: have Woe/Pvp Only effects, not all your classes can use it, requires lv 95+, breakable, if you dont value Pvp/Woe wont do nothing at all.

 

-Valk Armor pros: Can be enchanted, unbreakable, all transcendent 2nd job classes can wear it, has no lvl requirement, +1 all stats. cons: No extended/non-trans/1st trans classes can wear it.

 

-Bakonawa Scale Armor (Bayani) pros: +1% Boss damage reduction for ea 2 refinement levels, all stats +2, all classes can wear it, has no req lvl. cons: breakable.

 

-Anti-Magic Suit pros: +5%hp, 7% hp if refined to +7, all classes can wear it. cons: requires lvl 99+, breakable.

I'd prob go for valk armor for unbreakable and +4 dex is sweet on RK xD

I havent got it yet. its an an amor sadly and i want the GMS to facilitate the trade. just to avoid conflicts further down the road. Im gonna end up paying 20b for it tho havenn. I was thinking Valk armor with Vit +3 tho. as the 4 vit sounds beautiful on RK/RG/sura haha

 

the unbreakable isnt an issue, i dont solo as much as i probably should. so ill always have one of my party members be a gene for bombing anyways.

How do you get slotted Bako Armor from unslotted ones?

Do you have fcp available at all times when you're using tao?

No > Valk armor

Yes > Geffen robe

Just put it in a suit since you can at least use it for WoE on multiple classes, anything else is really not as rewarding. You can tank any mvp on an RG already by it being in a woe suit/plate, so why not maximize it's usage capability? Having a tao just for pvm is pretty much a waste of a tao imo. *looks at havenn wanting a tao*

@ jaye - i don't woe enuff for a suit to matter. If I'm going to woe I would presume just ask my guild to swap me for the time being. And how is showing me 4 Tao Woe armors examples of how to card? Lol call me newbish I guess but that doesn't really make sense.

@ Kali - I'm putting it in an anti magic robe becuase to me, 7% more hp seems very rewarding. What's a waste IMO is why not just swap for someone in my guild who has a few extra just for woe when j can then use mine for exactly what I want it to.
